Fancy being forced out of your job over a nobhead like John Terry.

The FA is one big joke.  Run by a gang of big kids playing at being adults.

Stats don't lie - Capello had a terrific record at England, and given the amount of sh*t players they've got he deserves some credit for that.  Surprised he has stuck it out so long with gobs***e players and gobs***e officials.

I'm no big England fan so I'd happily laugh if they got Hodgson in, but I have always felt it is important at the national level that you should have a manager from that country.

Fully agree JD! I'm surprised he stuck it out for that long just looking at the farce players he had to contend with. It was the usual suspect that ultimately cost Capello his job. That John Terry is a repulsive individual ruining everyone else's careers around him while he gets away scott free.

If Louise Redknapp became his number 2 then I might start watching them again....

Im guessing Stuart Peace for the job?

F**k me after watching the England U21's last summer, no way will he get the job.

Be funny if he did, watching St George clad dickheads crying into their ale in the summer will be fun.

If you're English you have to support England, if you're Scottish you have to support Scotland, if you're Brazilian you have to support Brazil, Italian=Italy, American=USA, you get the idea.

In club sport, you can support whoever you like. International sport is different altogether. We all have a nationality, and good bad or indifferent, we have a duty to support our own.

I'm Scottish, but I don't have a particular fondness for supporting any international football team including Scotland. I used to love international football but I've become slightly lost with it. In all fairness I don't strongly identify myself by nationality/region. I don't really believe in it. What accompanies my personality and what I achieve in life is more important to what flag I carry with my luggage.

edit: Also I would expect Stuart Pearce to take over for the friendly against Holland in the same way Peter Taylor did against Italy in between Keegan's resignation and Sven's appointment.

Apparently Harry Redknapp's dog has been seen entering Ladbrokes and putting £100 on the next England manager?

You could see this coming after what Capello said about Terry.

So the cycle will continue with the FA.

Appoint a foreign coach who gets the team to finals, then go back to an English coach after pressure from the media, English coach fails and media pressure FA to look at 'best coach no matter where he is from'.

I hope Redknapp does get the job and is as successful as the last English manager in the job as I'd love to see the reaction from the press who seem to think he can do no wrong.

Yet more proof that the FA couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.

So the possible candidates to take over appear to be Hodgson, Pearce or Rednapp.  :lmao:

Oh, and apparently Wayne Rooney has tweeted that, although he's sorry to see Fabio go, the next manager should be English. Does that little sh*t thinks he runs the FA now?

      Personally, I couldn't give a F**k. I'm Scouse not English!

      Get "The Chosen One" in.

Media are always telling us what a fantastic job he has done at Everton.  I'd love to see his unique brand of football brought to the masses.

Got to love the FA couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. The FA not fit for purpose. How can you cheer on the likes of Rooney for England and revile him this saturday.
I remember when England players from all teams were very much respected it was a treat to see the likes of Bobby ~Moore,Geoff Hurst etc whats gone wrong.oh yes money and greed.

      I wish I could, but I just don't give a f**k.

Supporting England is for them lot down saaaath or the fans of smaller clubs with not much to shout about.

"You have to support England if you're from there"? Get to f**k.

Bollocks to the lot of them and that set of corrupt bas**rds down at the FA.

I live in the US. My grandpa was born in Wales. Both sets of my grandmothers' parents are from Scotland. My other grandad's family is from England.

I'll support whoever I want thank you very much :D

I do find it pretty poor form for the likes of Rooney to come out on twitter and start suggesting replacements.

Stinks of the classless tw*t he is.

      Quote from waltonl4
How can you cheer on the likes of Rooney for England and revile him this saturday.

How can Stevie play with Rooney next summer, and try to tear him a new one on Saturday? Same regarding Terry, Lampard etc. Reason: They're all English.

What happens at club level stays at club level, when you're called upon to serve your country in the international fold. Whatever issues of the day there are, you park them while on national team duty. What the FA should have done in this case too. Instead, they'll launch another inquest into why they failed in the summer, when the answer is right in front of their eyes.
