Alcaraz and Stones vs Aguero, Dzeko, Yaya etc. - Everton ain't getting sh*t from that game!

We fu**ed it up for ourselves, can't blame Everton if they don't get a result against a superior City team, especially with Everton's injuries.

Let's never say never. City are superior, but can you see them getting an easy fight?

I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.

No chance - a draw effectively ends any lingering hope that they can make 4th.

Everton bans fan over racist Richard Wee tweets
Everton Football Club has banned a supporter for tweeting racist and homophobic comments at a Malaysian fan.

The club acted after a series of tweets were posted making abusive remarks about Richard Wee.

Mr Wee made headlines in February when his plans to see Everton play live for the first time in 30 years were thwarted after the Blues' match against Crystal Palace was postponed.

A club spokesman confirmed they sent a letter to the twitter user on Friday.

      'Zero tolerance policy'
The Everton spokesman said: "The club has contacted a supporter informing them of our decision to ban them from all Everton matches indefinitely after they appeared to have posted homophobic and racist comments linked to the club on the social media site twitter.

"This is a breach of our ticket terms and conditions.

"Everton has a zero tolerance policy on racism and homophobia."

The fan accused of being responsible for posting the comments was traced via an email address linked to the twitter account.

The club spokesman added that the accused fan has seven days to write to the club with proof that he did not post the offensive comments.

The offending twitter account has since been deactivated.

Gareth Barry: Everton sign midfielder on three-year deal
Everton have signed midfielder Gareth Barry on a three-year contract.
The 33-year-old spent last season at Goodison Park on loan from Manchester City, helping Roberto Martinez's side finish fifth in the Premier League.

Barry, whose contract with City expired at the end of June, is Martinez's first signing of the summer.

"I'm delighted now that everything is signed and I'm going to be spending the next few years at Everton," the midfielder said.

"When you are on loan, it is never the same as being a signed player. I was really settled last year - but now I am an official Everton player and it feels really good."

The midfielder, who has 53 England caps, played 37 times in all competitions for Everton during his loan spell.

Barry began his career at Aston Villa, moving to Manchester City in a £12m deal in June 2009.

He was one of three players to join Everton on transfer deadline day in September 2013, along with midfielder James McCarthy - signed from Wigan for £13m - and striker Romelu Lukaku, brough in on a season's loan from Chelsea.

Later that month, he became only the 10th player to make 500 Premier League appearances.

He added: "From the moment I signed last year, I settled in straight away.

"There is a fantastic history here and it was brilliant working with the manager."

Agree. Barry was a solid addition for them last year. Real workhorse in the middle for them with McCarthy in CM, which allows Barkley to stay forward and not worry as much about defending.

Barry will be a decent signing for him. He's no Xabi Alonso, but will be solid for them nonetheless.

Reckon they'll do alright next season and really give scum a close battle for 5th place and that illustrious EL spot, but just fall short in the end. Losing Lukaku and that Spanish fullback will be a kicker though since, being a small club, they don't really have the funds to replace those 2 with similar quality and then have enough left to strengthen elsewhere.

Joe Royle   is back at Everton as some sort of coach for their younger players,  that should give us REDS plenty of confidence for the future. I used to like it when he was a player and his old feller played the piano in the ale house, the standard joke was that Joe was like his old man ,he couldn't play either.

Everton's entire summer transfer strategy was built around signing Romelu Lukaku. Their patience has paid off. Deal done.

Ross barkley, they haven't had player of that calibre since rooney.

By calibre I mean as in the the fact that they're both thick as F**k.

Apparently now they've signed oofafu they're gonna win the CL next year.

How are they going to afford socks this season with the Lukaku signing and the new Barkley deal? By the end of the season they are going to have to go barefoot.
