Said it many times before, if you need to know anything about Liverpool Football Club then ask an Evertonian. They're obsessed with us because they have always been, are and always will be in our shadow. It hurts everyone of them to the core.

What that woman said is f**k all to what I hear from some of them. Water off a duck's back.

I hope City do them. Don't want them to even enjoy a day out.

They're just jealous because their fanbase isn't as vast because they've not won enough to reach out on such a global scale.

The mad thing is that these pathetic wretches are only the tip of a very large iceberg of match going Evertonians, 99% of whom know that you can't say theses things in your name publicly and get away with it, but who are happy enough to sing the songs or make the comments when in the "everton gang".

I honestly believe that Everton FC would have to publicly announce that Heysel is not the root cause of the club's problems, before the message started getting through to the next generation, because the current generation are a lost cause.

It'd be interesting to see someone at Everton carry out a full investigation as to just how far up the power ladder in EFC, the belief in the Heysel myth goes.

Most of this generations' bollocks came from Moyes, trying to score points in his 1st press conference, but assuming he wasn't sanctioned for those comments, doesn't that illustrate that the club heirachy also buy into the myth that Heysel, in the form of Liverpool FC, irrevocably damaged Everton, above and beyond every other club affected?

It does seem an endemic mind set within the core of Everton support; the bitterness has always been there and seems to have multiplied with a lack of success over the years.
As is the case now they believe their team is better than it is and look for a blame factor to explain away their sh*te record.
It is all rolled into the jealousy and hatred with which they regard Liverpool FC and the likes of Moyes use that faulted perception to mask his own failure as you say mate.
The bitters seem happy with the F**k up and continue to display their entirely inappropriate 'support' behaviour for all to see, the latest disclosure with the club steward spouting vile claims about LFC confirms the above proposition.

I always remember doing a delivery to a warehouse in runcorn and when I walked in the warehouse there were blue sh*te posters/flags all over the gaff. It was the beginning of the season after we nearly won the league and I was talking to him and with an entirely straight face he said that he had no idea how we nearly won it because it was some of the worst football he'd seen.

I laughed, he never, I left.

The most blind bitterness I've encountered.

Exiled to Runcorn brings out the worst in the bitters Ian, like yourself mate speaking from experience.

My Dad was born in 1920 as a kid he was always taunted with "talk to us when you have won the FA Cup" well we did in 1965 and since then there has only been one club on Merseyside . If you come from Liverpool you can spot a bluenose a mile away.

Still one of the funniest moments ever was outside the blueshite end before the 2012 Fa Cup semi - one of our kid's bluenose mates doing the old "your support is full of Norwegians, Pakis' and Cockneys" just as some cockney lad come over asking if we had any spares. Quick as a flash this bluenose was in there "who do you support" and what followed in the most broadest cockney accent I can imagine was the answer..........."Eeeeeeverton!!"  Bro's blueshite mate just mouthed "F**k off" and while the pair of them nearly ended up coming to blows, us two redshite (me and my brother) just stood there pissing ourselves.

One of the funniest ironic moments I've had for some time at a match 8)

Police step in to separate fans at Manchester City v Everton cup match

Reports of bottles and coins being thrown outside Etihad stadium

Police intervened to separate fans outside the Etihad stadium after the Man City v Everton game
      .

Trouble flared outside the stadium last night and there were reports of missiles being hurled at each other.

One Everton fan, Tom Lancaster, told of how his brother fell over and was bleeding after getting pushed.

Describing the incident as ‘rowdy’ he told of how ‘each set of fans started throwing coins at bottles at each other’ but police intervened before anything got too serious.

He said: ‘The police started pushing everyone back.”

A report on Twitter from Keith Mullin said: “Murder going on here edge of coach park. City fans corned some kids, the fence came down, and it went off #MCFCvEFC”

Other fans complained about being escorted from the stadium after finding themselves in the wrong part of the stadium.

Lee Monaghan, 36, a printer from Netherley, travelled to the match with five friends after buying tickets for £65 each in what they were told was a neutral zone but then, after having bottles thrown and abuse shouted at them, were escorted out by police.

He claims police implied they were being moved to the Everton section, but they were then told to leave after watching only 30 minutes of the match.

Describing the atmosphere at the beginning of the game as ‘unfriendly’ he expressed his disappointment at not being able to watch the match.

He said:“Everyone was angry and upset, we had travelled for two hours in traffic.

“We were completely compliant but then forcefully booted out.”

Injuries sustained by an Everton fan last night.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “There have been reports of Everton fans sat in the wrong seats, with home fans, and have been ejected.

“There were also reports of disturbances and there have been some reports of bottles being thrown.

“Nobody has been injured that we are aware of - and no-one has been arrested.”

He said officers used the ‘routine’ tactic of brandishing batons to ‘create a visual deterrent’ and stem the violence.

Typical City acting like cu*ts again!!

Behaviour-wise they're worse than other F***ing retards from Old Trafford - Manchester on a whole has a weird obsession with all things scouse.

Police still see football supporters as "sub-human" and even more so if they come from Liverpool. If the ticket situation is for real then City need a good F***ing.

This with the money coming in from TV in the summer makes it a good time to buy a club. £200mil including a crumbling stadium seems a lot for a club that hasn't won anything for 20 years and is only second in the city never mind the Country

Has he really paid £200m for a 49.9% share in them?

That's mad for what's effectively a non controlling share, unless he's got another shareholder to bump him past 50%, if that's the case it could get messy at the corrugated cave.

      Unless I'm completely wrong like.

You've got it wrong Ian although it isn't really clear in any of the media pieces.

He sold his Arsenal shares for £200m but I believe he's paid around £40m for his 49% of neverton so a lot of bitters have put 2+2 together and come up with "he's investing £150m in the Club".

Oh and they've somehow come up with the bizarre idea that his sidekick Usmanof (spelling) who just paid him said £200m for his Arsenal shares is now going to sell them to Kroenke so they can take over at woodison.

Ooh, ooh and they're going to build a brand new stadium too.
