30 years ago yesterday, I went to watch Liverpool Football Club for the very first time. I stood in the Anfield Road section of the ground and witnessed a team that I fell in love with.
The result ended with a 2 - 0 victory over Manchester United, with Dalglish and Neal (pen) scoring.

20 years ago today, I went to watch Liverpool Football Club.
I stood in the Leppings Lane Terrace, and 96 fellow supporters around me never returned home.

I still recall that day as if it was yesterday.
The sounds, the smell, the thoughts and what I witnessed / went through, don't 'haunt' me, but remind me daily of what really went on that day.

96 lives lost, but NEVER forgotten.
Justice will be fought for those who died, for the families, and for those suffered that terrible day.

I am getting ready to come to the memorial service (as I have done yearly).
I look outside and the weather is bleak, overcast and a spot of rain.
I will guarantee you one thing. Come 3.06pm, the sun will be over Anfield, and those 96 angels will be looking down on us all as we remember them all.

An emotional day for sure, but a very important day for all involved.

      God bless you all 96.
      God bless all your families.
      God bless Liverpool Football Club.

      YNWA.

We are a family and it still hurts to think that the deaths of 96 members of our family have gone unpunished. I hope the families today take some comfort from our continued and unflinching support. We will always support you Godbless you all.

The families  must keep fighting and one day justice will be done, and every single Liverpool supporter will continue you to support you through thick and thin.

Rest in peace. My thoughts are with the families and friends who complete today 20 years without their loved ones.

I hope everyone will read the letters written from family and friends to the victims of Hillsborough. I found myself in tears today while reading them.  I hope everyone will remember them, at least for one day, not as a number (the "96"), but as people who were missed every single day during those 2 decades. Lets praise life above football once again, cause thats what this incident has thaught me.

And the way Liverpool FC as a club and its supporters dealt with the tragedy over those 20 years is much more of a source of pride to me than anything our players could ever do inside the pitch.

      RIP fellow Liverpool fans

Rest in piece, the 96 people that wen't out to enjoy an FA Cup Semi Final, cheering on who they loved.

And 20 years on, the South Yorkshire police conceede that it was their fault for the disaster.  GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTON.

The amount of people who were at Anfield today is testament to the fact that we will never give up fighting for JUSTICE FOR THE 96.

More than anything else, it's only what they deserve.

R.I.P to all of you and to all those who are still suffering to this day.

Always in our thoughts, always in our hearts.

The show of people today was overwhelming and it speaks volumes about Liverpool as a city and Liverpool as a club.

Justice will come. We'll keep on fighting for them and make sure that they are never forgotten.

I was talking to a friend about the afternoon recently and he really put it in stark terms-- all they did was go watch football like all of us do on a saturday.

my heart goes out to everyone who was there or lost someone that day. I can't imagine how terrible it was
