The Hunter Inside by David McGowan

      Hello Everyone!

I've not been around much lately on the forum. I'm sorry about that, and I wish I could have spent more time interacting with you all. But I've been super busy, and I haven't had a moment. I've worked so hard as I've been preparing and releasing my debut novel, The Hunter Inside. It's available for Kindle or for the Kindle app on PC, smartphone or android.

I've had loads of support from people on here, and I want to thank you all. For those of you who haven't had a chance to check it out yet, here it is, showcased on LFC REDS!

The Hunter Inside crosses over several genres. It is a serial killer thriller, mixing suspense, psychological horror and supernatural to bring you a page-turning, roller coaster experience of a novel that you won't be able to put down until every twist and turn has been revealed.

      Here is the blurb:

Paul Wayans and Bill Arnold have something in common. Both men have received letters, threatening their lives. Sandy Myers, rushing from home with her 7 year-old twins in tow, grabs a letter from the mailbox. It is addressed to Sandy Carson. Her maiden name.

The past has caught up with them, and now their lives are in jeopardy.

But who, or what, is hunting them? Should they run, or should they stand and fight?

FBI Special Agent Sam O’Neill will fight desperately to solve a case that he could not solve ten years before. But can he find them before it’s too late? And if he does not, will anyone survive?

The Hunter Inside is a psychological thriller with a twist. It is a page-turning roller-coaster of a novel that you won’t be able to put down until all of its secrets, twists and turns have been revealed.

You can lock your windows and your doors, but you cannot lock your mind from The Hunter Inside.

You can purchase The Hunter Inside for £1.91 in the UK and the equivalent in the US and across Europe.

If you're in the UK you can check it out HERE

If you're in the US you can check it out HERE

I'm sure you'll love it, and please spread the word to your family and friends, on Facebook, Twitter, and anywhere else where you think people will enjoy it.

Please take a moment to follow me on Twitter @dmcgowanauthor to receive updates.

Also, if you buy it and you like it, please consider posting a review to Amazon. If you buy it, post a review, and send me an email at gow200227@gmail.com, you will qualify to receive a free copy of my second novel, From the Sky, when it is released.

From the Sky is the story of a small town in Northern California that finds itself at the epicentre of a sudden invasion of visitors from the sky. A small band of characters must embark on a pilgrimage across the redwood forests and the Californian mountains and eventually into the Nevada desert to meet their destiny and reveal a massive, heart-stopping twist.

Please feel free to comment. Also, you can check out my website and blog at http://davidmcgowanauthor.com. If you're a writer, there are lots of tips and motivational articles to help you write more and improve your methods and skills.

      Thanks everyone!

You've just reminded me so I'll do it tonight although might be a few weeks before I read it.

As I mentioned on Twitter, I have downloaded it for my Kindle. In all honestly I haven't even started it yet, partly due to all the goings on here and partly because I've been working towards an NVQ.
I'm more than happy to support anyone who's put the effort in to write and will certainly add a review when I've got through it.
Best of luck, Gow, I hope it goes down well.

I really want to read your book too. I used to say I was going to be a writer when I was a kid. I think I've given up on that dream but I'm happy that you haven't!

I don't know how it works to read it without a Kindle though. I need the Kindle app, right? Where do I find it? Sorry for being lazy :D

You need a Kindle next time your bonds come in, Cas. Perfect for taking on holiday as they're extremely thin and light. Plus you can read Gow's book!

Kindle apps for phones are crap, the screens aren't desinged to be stared at for that length of time.

GoW, once it's up on Amazon, can you edit it at all or would that mean releasing another edition?

I only ask because I've spotted a grammatical error already (ie - wrong word for that context) and wondered if it was worth letting you know of any more that I spot.

Thanks mate. It's so hard to get them all, but there shouldn't be many. I'm surprised there's one to be honest! I had a problem with a couple of page breaks where, despite me doing them right, left a blank page when it converted due to a problem with MS Word that meant I either had a blank page or no space (when one chapter ended on the last line of a page). Very frustrating!
