Thrilled that we have got him, hope he starts this season alongside both Suarez and Carroll.

He was at Chelsea when he was 16 so I'm assuming he will be a homegrown player.

      Welcome to Liverpool, Fabio!

He spent 4 years at Chelsea so he should be home grown.

Going to wear 29 for us.

By the way, we finally get a quality player for a decent price. I'm happy.

I was speaking to a Swansea season ticket holder yesterday who rates him very highly.

Said he has excellent and attitude and will run himself into the ground but also has pace and a good eye for goal. Seems a bit of a confidence player but with BR man-management skills he should do really well for us.

Have to admit, when I first heard about us signing him, I was a bit unsure about it. However, having read all the features on the website, as well as reading profiles by journalists, I am now excited. I like his passion for the game and love how he is determined to suceed (celebration proves that). I think he feel he has something to prove in England but hopefully he can do that with the Reds. Delighted with his trasnfer fee as well.

Welcome Fabio. Best of luck lad.

EDIT: Loving the song by the way. It gets my vote.

Welcome to the club Fabio hope he turns into a proper goal machine.

Could end up being a doubley good sigbing for us if Rodgers keeps Aquilani as having another Italian round might help him settle a little.

Who can question if Italians can make it in England ?

You never heard of Ravanelli, Di matteo, Vialli, Zola, Di Canio ;)

      Ciao Fabio.

Seems to have two of the attributes that BR looks for most - passion and determination.  With those and the types of chances that went begging last year I am sure he will make a good account of himself.

If anything Aquilani needs another Italian, not Fabio.
