FIFA 13

Been playing this one today, my views are:

great inertia animations
ball control now much more realistic, when receiving possession
too many blocks on your shots makes it hard to score
lfc stats too low, i suppose it makes it more of a challenge
love the added pushing, be careful when trying to head it, youll get pushed
love the gerrard type runs people make, blockbusting speed into the area, get that through ball activated before your offside though.
commentary good again.
loads of manager features AAA+++ including commentary on transfers and form.
form actually follows our reat teams form
its true that allens stats are stupid.

Doesn't even have the option to download the demo when i select it. Just has all the other sh*t like info, pics and trailers to download :|

Good gameplay. Loving the realistic first touch when receiving a pass now.

Started downloading the demo yesterday and had to stop a few times as it was taking the piss and slowing down my internet connection.

Downloading again now, currently at 55%, so it should be done just in time for the release of the full game!

If any PC users want to make the halves longer, select weather etc for the demo you can use this demo tweaker, also has a quick launch that takes you straight to the arena instead of watching all the intro stuff.

Gonna have another pop at downloading it now, wonder if the crowds are still as sh*te as usual, the physical look of them is so poor.

Finally downloaded the demo. Really like it.

Granted, I've only played one 3 minute game, but it seems that they've just tweaked just the right things. My biggest concern with FIFA 11 and 12, was how the refereeing had gone downhill. It's so inconsistent, but on FIFA 10 (or maybe 09) it was fine. How could they have got worse in that regard?

So far with 13, it seems that they've improved the refereeing, but as I said, I've only played 1 game so far.

Anyone come accross any decent pre order deals yet for PS3? most places are charging minimum £45 quid which is a pistake considering i got 12 for £30 the day after release last year

For console your best waiting till the day before release and checking the papers, no doubt the supermarkets will have a price war and you can probably get it for something like £25 somewhere. I remember when FIFA 10 or 11 came out and Tesco were doing it for £24, bought 4 copies and traded in three of them for £28 each at GAME xD

The Nou Camp isn't in this.
They couldn't reach an agreement with Barcelona for it.
In other words Barcelona wanted more money.

i think your right about getting it in the shop, think i got it from morrissons last year 25 quid if you spent 30 in store, a fair few crates of beer and fifa..cant fault it

Downloaded the demo last night (take anyone else ridiculously long? - like 1:20hours?) and played one quick game, was happy with it, picked it up straight away. Once I finish this stupid uni essay I'll get properly stuck in a contribute more.

Oh, I won 1-0 City v Arsenal. Dzeko header from Silva cross, can't wait for the actual release and getting stuck into manager mode with Liverpool though!

Is there a demo for PS Vita?

Giroud is atrocious on the game. Played about 6 games with Arsenal v Juventus, Giroud hardly had an impact, no goals, all his shots went straight at keeper or miles wide, and his passes are overhit.. Walcott however is a beast in the game, quick and turns on the spot.

Happy with the game so far, can't wait for the actual release so that I can get stuck into manager mode and play with Liverpool

Totally agree. Hopefully he will be soon if he keeps up his brilliant form cos as I said, players ratings are updated weekly with the new FIFA (assuming you are connected to xbox live or PSN and download the weekly updates.

Where are you guys finding the player ratings?

I found them by searching for them on twitter, so they may not be true, but quite often player ratings are leaked like this before the release, and the ratings don't seem too far of what I expected them to be. Even though I don't agree with a lot of them, they're still what I expected FIFA to give our team.
