Joe Pirlo Allen (Liverpool -> Stoke)

Re-watched the match earlier and I must say, Allen should've got MOTM, the guy was beastly next to Hendo. If he carries on this way, I can't see Lucas getting back into the team for a while.

I haven't got to see the game yet but by all accounts Joe was excellent yesterday.

Great player to have in the squad and there is no way I'd be looking to move him on this summer as we need to build on this season and not go back to scratch again.

Missed the game and not seen full high lights but wow looks like the lad had some game, utterly commanding and assured if he can develop the confidence to play like this he could develop into some player. Got to to hold my hands up and say I thought Joes ship had sailed in a red Shirt love being proved wrong

Looking forward to watching wee Joe in action again tonight hope he puts in another boss performance like Sunday's.

Personally still not 100% sold on Joe Allen and whether we could have better in the middle (alongside Hendo/Couts) although he does deserve praise for his City performance. Time will tell and I guess then we will see if Rodgers was so correct in bringing this man with him (would have preferred Gylfi I think; currently).

Three good performances in a row for Allen. Hopefully he can keep this pace up!

That was the kind of performance that I've seen Lucas slated for and, as with Levia, I've got to say that was a solid 7/10 performance.  Nowt special, but covered the back line well and kept the ball moving.

Looks at ease with Lallana, Hendo and Coutinho alongside and in front of him. 4 players who just keep the ball moving.

He seems to work better with Hendo alongside.

Class on the ball, did his job yet again.

His ability to turn with with the ball facing goal with one touch, only Lucas is on his level.

Another very good performance!!  Credit to Joe, Brendan, and Migs.  All of them were taking a lot of sh*t earlier in the season, and all of them have turned it around!!

Would definitely be nice to see Allen start getting some of those numbers, but I think it depends on his role in the team. If he's coming in as a direct replacement for Lucas, then all he really needs to do is break up opposing attacks, shield the back line and keep us ticking, as Lucas hasn't scored in like 4 years

Who would have thought we'd miss wee Joe in midfield so much. Was very evident yesterday.

Discussing a contract extension apparently. I wiould be more than happy to see him stay!
