Really hope that's all they are, would be a huge blow for the lad. High hopes for this one too. If they are true I wish him a very speedy and complete recovery.

Always gutting when a player his age get's a serious injury mate.  Like you say it can put his development back and you're never sure if they'll ever fully recover.

He'll miss pre season and the early rounds of any European Competition we're in too.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for the lad and the medical team can work their magic.

Wasn't aware he was injured. that is a massive blow for him, in particular at the age he is at. Hope it doesn't but these kind of injuries at his age can have a massive impact on a player for years to come. Best of luck to the lad.

That's typically about a year recovery and rehab on that injury...unless you are Adrian Peterson.

He's the benchmark to what you can achieve with that injury. Remarkable season. Rondo went down with one too, so it will be interesting to see how well he does next season.

Isn't that also the injury Derrick Rose has that he's still not back from after about a year. Of course I think his is mental which would be my worry with anyone that has this type of injury...will they be as fearless?

As for Yesil, I think he'll be back around October? Does that seem like a reasonable recovery period?
