He made a decent return towards the end of the u21s season after his long injury layoff.  Scored a few and was generally getting into the right positions but was just lacking his usual lightening quick reactions, probably due to his lack of game time.

There was talk in May about a possible loan to Fenerbache for the coming season, which could be good for him to get playing again but I'd prefer him to stay at least until Christmas and it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't go on the Tour.

He is a massive talent, is a goal scorer but very much a 6yrd box poacher rather than a scorer from anywhere type striker.  He certainly gets into the right positions, has very good awareness in the box, makes room for himself and others and he's a handful as he's quite strong for his age, even though he looks lightweight.  He's only just turned 21 (end of May) so won't need to be registered and he's classed as homegrown.

      is he not on it?

if he is fit now, he should go on loan for a season... I have a feeling this boy is going to be something, but he isnt going to get a chance right nowl

Excellent, just need him to have a injury free season and hopefully he can challenge for a first team place.

He's done well since he came back around March time mate, he's certainly not lost his scoring habit.  An injury free season will be massive for him.

No reason why he won't Brian if he stays fit and keeps scoring this season.  He's basically lost 2 years of development with his injuries but he's not forgotten where the net is.

He's competing with all our strikers for a place but there's no guarantee that Benteke, Ings or Origi will become 20/30 goals a season type strikers for us and there's no guarantee that Danny will be anywhere near the level we need him to be when/if he returns from injury.

All he can do is keep scoring and avoid any long term injuries this season to keep him around.

He's going to need to have one hell of a season to even have a remote chance of getting into our squad.

Any idea how long his loan deal is for?

I genuinely don't think he's that good to feature too much for the first team. With the likes of Benteke, Sturridge, Origi and Ings ahead of him I don't see him getting many opportunities. The odd League Cup game or late sub appearance every now and again may be where he gets his minutes on the pitch. One goal for an average team like Luzern isn't too much to shout about either so I'm not sure how he could deserve anything at the moment.

Ha! Didn't realize that :)  I honestly have only seen him a couple times since he returned from injury, but he always seems to find the net!!
