Don't mean to add any pressure but, if there is any time to introduce yourself to the club, it is now.

Well in all seriousness he looks like 3rd choice striker right now! And if Borini and Suarez are on the pitch at the same time, he's on the bench waiting for one of them to get injured.

Looks a good signing for such a good price, but I don't expect him to be good enough yet. Shame that he'll probably have to play this season even when hes not yet ready, and if he isn't good enough, too many fans will hate him for it.

You're probably right - seems Morgan is ahead of Pacheco, unless Brendan didn't want to cup-tie Danny in Europe.

If Borini and Suarez both start then I'm guessing he's got a place on the bench already (or maybe it will be Morgan)

What about those rumours that Leverkusen have a buy-back release for the same price we paid for him during the whole duration of his contract?

If it's true I don't see the point of such a transfer; if he's any good they won't think twice before getting him back, will they?

      He's ballsy and he scores.

Here's a new video of him with more goals:

Is that true? I was thinking 1mil for this guy was really really cheap considering his talent. I didn't recognize the name when I heard about the signing, but when I saw his face I got excited. He is the only player from the U17 WC that I remembered. He really stood out and is a strong, fast, lethal STRIKER. Great buy if we don't have to sell him back to Leverkusen. He should def get a shot soon. Might have to rely on a 17 yo and 18 yo for goals.

There must be some catch to the deal because we got him so cheap but I'd be amazed (and pissed off) if that was the case. That wouldn't make any sense.

Yeah I know, it would be very weird. I only saw it on twitter, as an "explanation" to why we got him so cheap, considering how highly rated he seems to be. No idea of its veracity though.

Perhaps first rights if we ever decided to move him.

German football expert Raphael Honigstein: Bayer Leverkusen have just announced that they have an option to buy 18-year-old German forward Samed Yesil back from Liverpool "if certain conditions are met".

That's all I know about the deal. Can't see us accepting the terms mentioned on twitter though, and I can't see why he would want to go back to Leverkusen at any rate.

He looks like quite a handfull in the video clips, but i didn't see him in the tourney.

Owen and Fowler were also both very young when they first came into the side, and Sterling has shown BR's thinking that if you're good enough, you're old enough.

If he plays for us anything like he plays in the clips, we've got a proper gem.

For those worrying about possible buy back clauses, it won't ever happen if Yesil himself wants to stay, which these quotes would indicate.

"The first thing is that I have to train and then in one or two years I hope, step by step, to be in the first team.

"It is my dream to play for Liverpool and I will give my all."

These videos of him are sh*t  :D

I'm not saying he is sh*t, his scoring record speaks for itself but the videos don't exactly showcase his talents. I'm sure MilanKakaBaros will be able to put a decent one together once he's banging them in for us  ;)
