Hope to see him in the match day squad for most games to be honest, i think him, Sterling and Suso is what our team needs right now.

Well this lad really seems to be the business. With Sterling getting his chance, i can only assume with a couple of good outings with the ressies, Samed will step up to the first team bench.
His performance against Eng u 19s didn't do him any harm did it. Two great strikes and an assist. Maybe we don't need 29 year old yanks after all.

Think he could be our version of Chicharito Hernandez, but with more to his game. Hope so.

... the situation we are in of be disappointed not to see him on the bench soon.

Reading you loud and clear P_d. I think it's a fair enough expectation to see both him and young Morgan on the bench soon enough, given the lack of options we have in the short-term. Youth brings with it a certain level of enthusiasm, self-belief and the 'unexpected'. He'll be given some chances soon enough I'd imagine.

I saw a fair bit of him at the U17 world cup and he looks a real prospect, can't help thinking though we've gone all Life of Brian on the lad..............he's the messiah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suppose a lot depends on how Assaidi features for us this season.
If he does start regularly then I'd fully expect to see Sterling and Morgan/Yesil on the bench.
After all they are the only options we have.

      Note:
Presuming we have Downing as sub for left back.

How the hell did we get this kid for so cheap? Think of all the great German strikers who have come through their system and look at this guys record.

Wow  could be a real good player for us.

I would be offended by the fatso comment if I had any feelings and if it wasn't true.

This boy seems to be a proper goalscorer as in does it regular! Ok he's only 18 but should the return were seeing from Sterling, at 17, not open the door for other young lads to get a chance?

Should this boy get a run out on Thursday maybe and see how he goes?

I think he should. We need to see what he can do, Sterling has been putting the rest of the team (except Allen) to shame in recent weeks, this kid could do the same. Now I know we also dont want to be relying and pushing our youth players too hard too soon but we're in pretty dire need until January so a few games will only help this lad.

Surprised and actually very pleased and excited to hear that Brendan will parachute him into the Europa League squad for Thursday's game most likely where he will make his debut. Yes the lack of options up front is a main reason for this but nonetheless it's good to have a manager who will take a chance on youth when, in all fairness, we have been very conservative in doing this the past decade or so. You could say a good few players "missed the boat" with regards to getting in the first team but I believe the boat never came for them.

If the rest of the youth squad are seeing the likes of Yesil and Sterling getting into the first team then it will really make them believe that they have a great chance of getting there themselves.

I watched the Under 21's match and he looked sharp around the goal and got in and around the chavs a lot. I thought at the time he wouldn't be waiting too long for a first team start so I'm glad Brendans giving him a chance.

Just to add, he should fit right in because the other night he had a few chances to score but couldn't locate the goal. :P
