Jerome Sinclair (Liverpool -> Watford)

In this day and age  of shortage of forwards and the drive of bleeding in young talents, this kid has been touted as the next best thing in his age group.

Thinking we could do with another young Micheal Owen.

Started this thread to get more information on the progress of this lad and his chances of breaking into the first team.

Scored a few goals in the pre-season and i hear he has been promoted to the U-21s.

Bit early yet for him - needs a season in the reserves first. But he does look like he has something about him

 Jerome Sinclair (born 20 September 1996) is an English footballer who plays for the Liverpool Academy as a striker.

Liverpool career

Liverpool signed Sinclair as a 14-year-old from the West Bromwich Albion youth academy in the summer of 2011. A very highly-rated youngster- it has been suggested that the Liverpool coaching staff consider his potential to be at a similar level to that of Raheem Sterling. He spent most of the 2011-12 season with the Under 16s before coach Mike Marsh gave him a run of four games with the Under 18s at the end of the season. He impressed greatly in those games, though he failed to find the back of the net. On 14 July 2012 however, Sinclair came off the bench to score a hat trick against Exeter in an Under 18s pre-season friendly. In all, Sinclair netted eight goals in the six Under 18s pre-season friendly games in the run up to the 2012-13 Academy Under 18s season.

He's fifteen, very talented, can score with both feet and he was on the bench yesterday for the U21's but didn't feature.  He's a very exciting, very young, prospect!

Yesil and Morgan should get time on the pitch ahead of this kid. Leave him learn his trade for the time being.

Like the lad has a lot of talent. Very quick and is an excellent finisher has more potential than Morgan for me.

This is a bit soon for him though he ain't physically ready for the first team

We witnessed history tonight . the youngest ever to play first team . Fair play to him unlucky not to have scored .
Wouldn't that have been the icing on the cake for him and us.

Delighted for him, unbelievable thing to be honest. I remember what I was like (only just) at 16 and that would surely of been very overwhelming.

Congrats young lad, history written.

Even with the influx of kids coming into the first team or on from the bench, this is a record which could stand for a long time.

I reckon this lad or Yesil should be leading the line with Suarez et al supporting from the wings.

These kids can be lethal if given a good run of games in the first team.
