God, it's terrible!!

The match engine is horrible. The players and ball move so unnaturally. It's as if they glide and slide all over the place.

Played two games and quit. Don't think i'll be playing it much more. Any chance of a refund through Steam?

Mate recommended the classic FM version and i've been getting in to that.

Started with QPR and we're 4 wins a 5 losses in the league. Sitting 9th with a 'avoid relegation' aim.

The wage bill is insane. The club is haemorrhaging money.

Got in Gelson Fernandes and Vaclac Kadlec for 10m. Only sold a few reserves for a bit of cash.

Is it addictive this year? Because last years was sh*t.

It took me a while and some help from a fellow forum member Jamo and now i am into season 2022....managed Villa and finally the beloved and am top of the league.
Won the league cup 7 times, FA cup 4 times, Prem 4 times and euro 3 times.
To have to start again on 2013 is such a wrench that i might well avoid it.
Far too addictive on the days off.

QPR are flying!

5th in the league in January. Kadlec has been young player of the month every month bar one.

He has 16 goals an 6 assists in 26 games. Cisse has 15 goals and 7 assists in 25 games.

Need to sell a lot of players. The wages are ridiculous and the club is in debt.

Its bloody difficult as well. My formation doesnt work too well so i have changed. Been Sheffield United for 4 seasons. Got them up 1st year to the championship, 2 seasons on the trot in the play offs without going up and its looking like a play off spot at best this season.

Really like this year's game, to be honest. Spent yesterday sorting myself a database right down to level 10 of the English league pyramid. Managing my local side Holker Old Boys and loving it so far.

Please some one post a save file after of august 1st 2012. Mine is crashing on july. Please.

Dunno if you guys are interested but I just ordered a book off Amazon which is all about Football Manager and how it has affected peoples lives. I was browsing for a few late xmas presents and it popped up and I thought, " why not for only £8" .

Managed to get this for free a few weeks back and like many of you guys it's taken me so long to get into it!

But after a few uneventful days at work I whacked it on my laptop,

Eventually brought in Huntelaar, Walcott & Alonso, smashing it so far,

2nd just behind City with just over 10 games to go so i'll let you know if i get the title!

One of the authors, Iain MacIntosh, is on Twitter and is pretty funny. One of the few people worth following.

Started a game with Arsenal. Brought in Glen Johnson, Yann M'Vila, Davide Santon & Lasse Schone and Jesus Datolo on loan from Ajax and Internacional respectively. Got rid of Santos, Chamakh and Arshavin.

Seem to have nailed the tactics from the start this time. First six results:

Stoke City 0-0 Arsenal
Arsenal 1-0 QPR
Aston Villa 0-1 Arsenal
Arsenal 1-0 Chelsea
Arsenal 2-0 Fenerbahce
Manchester United 1-2 Arsenal

Yeah, I was thinking for a good few days about who would be a good team to start a save with. Wanted someone with money to spend that could immediately challenge, and a club that I didn't despise, so Arsenal just about fits the bill.

To be honest, it's probably my best ever start to an FM save, my next 4 results after the 6 above were:

Arsenal 2-1 Nottingham Forest (League Cup)
Arsenal 4-0 Wigan Athletic
MSK Zilina 0-3 Arsenal
Arsenal 2-0 Sunderland

Top of the league having only conceded 1 goal in the first 7 league games, dropping only 2 points.

Absolutely love this save already.

Board decided to give me more funds in January. Falcao was transfer listed so got him in for £27m. Just ended my 8 game winless streak with a 2-0 win over United who are top. 12 points behind them with a game in hand, where there's a Falcao there's hope.
