George you must try and watch The Godfather.

Maybe he will, if you make him an offer he can't refuse. ;)

I threw the Hurt Locker in cos my daughter refers to it as a classic, she loves all those films.  Like I said Rep I've started to watch all of them too many times but always turn them off after 20mins or so.

George you must try and watch The Godfather.

I have them all on Blu Ray ready to watch.

Other than those I have pretty much watched most of the "classics" as you say.

      Gone With The Wind

      Casablanca

Another two added to my list that I've always meant to watch but some how never got round to it. Even had Gone With The Wind stored on my Sky box then deleted it.

      Some more I've never seen

      Scum
      The Jerk
      Fame
      On Golden Pond
      Chariots Of Fire
      An American Werewolf In London
      Gandhi
      The Dark Crystal
      Terms Of Endearment
      9 1/2 Weeks
      Cape Fear
      The Commitments
      Scent Of A Woman
      Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
      The Madness Of King George
      The Basketball Diaries
      Titanic
      As Good As It Gets
      Pearl Harbour
      Moulin Rouge!

That's from the year of my birth, though I'll tackle the last ten years soon.

I've seen the ones in bold and they are all worth watching if you get the chance, particularly On Golden Pond and Scent of a Woman.

All of the Star Wars films.

      Dr. Strangelove.

      2001: A Space Odyssey.

      Pulp Fiction.

      Reservoir Dogs.

      Dr Zhivago.

      Gone with the Wind.

      Lawrence of Arabia.

Sorry I have to say that the Star Wars films are not classics by a long way. The "original" 3 were good, and I still enjoy them but George F***ing Lucas* has tinkered with them so much to fit with the new 3 films he's ruined them.

      *not our George.

Dr Zhivago & Lawrence of Arabia are absolutely, utterly, unequivocally, brilliant films.

      All The Presidents Men.

I have this on my Sky planner now and need to watch it soon as I've always been dying to see it.
