      Train Station to Anfield
      Dec 05, 2012 11:05:10 pm
      Hi guys,

I was just trying to book tickets to go to the Liverpool vs Sunderland match on 2nd January and i was wondering approximately how long it takes on a game day to get from Anfield to either Edge Hill station or Lime Street station. I am only asking because with it being a 7:45pm kick off there is a possibility that i could miss the last train back to Manchester if it takes a while. If you think it'll be a bit too close for time then i will wait until tickets for other games to become available.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Both about 3 miles - around 10-15 mins in a taxi if traffic is ok - give yourself half hour around the match times

One more thing, i was deciding between Main Stand Block MB (second tier) and Anfield Road block 125 (first tier) which do you think would be the best to enjoy the view and game? The 3D seating plan on the website looks a bit weird so can't see from there would i would prefer. I used to sit in block 225 when i was 5/6 but obviously can't remember much haha.
