Got in after 2 mins...sold out! 

Have to say it is sh*te that fans go to every game don't get the chance to go to the biggest league game in the last 2 decades. In saying that as I'm trying to get a ticket for the palace game,am I part of the problem? I feel at times I have to prove my level of fan and love for the club. I'd be getting to more games if it wasn't for bad health and distance,its just pure timing coincidence for the palace game. The last thing I want to do is piss off fellow fans just cause I want to get to a game.

A wise lady, MsG,  once told me a Liverpool fan should never feel guilty for getting a ticket.  I must say, I would at the moment.

Luckily for me my brother is away and I get his ticket for the Newcastle game.

I have been on the season ticket list for 20 years, i am now about 2800 on the list. 

I know I shouldn't as it the club I,like all of you,love but can't help but feel judged by some fans for taking a ticket.

Personally, I don't think its fair that someone who has never been to Anfield before (or some scum tout) could possibly get a ticket for a game of this magnitude based on a "luck of the drawer" scenario.

It's probably not fair.

A lot of things aren't fair when it comes to ticketing.  People palming off Season Tickets every week to someone different, when there are fans who want to go every week and would kill for a ST.

Supporters who live in the Anfield area priced out of the game etc.

But...

Funnily enough though all my best memories of us winning all those trophies down the year are not from being in the actual ground to see a trophy lifted from a birds eye view, the 10 minutes or so of songs before you are kicked out but the celebrating in to the night.  Reliving those games for days, weeks and months afterwards.  I didn't go to Istanbul, and although it would have been great to have been at that final, I don't feel like I enjoyed it any less because I wasn't.

Just saying like.

Anyway I found the Man City game exhausting.  I physically don't think I could face the last game of the season if we needed to win it without consuming alcohol.

Even if you don't get a match ticket mate, the buzz around the ground will be on par.

Just found a pair of tickets in the kop for the Newcastle game don,t know how genuine they are, fckers going for four and half gs don,t know if i would pay that even if i had that kind of dosh which i don,t.

Well if you can't fork out that much, you have no chance of blowing the 20,000 (yes that is the right number of zeros) that was offered for 2 tickets in the Centenary Stand last week. They came with hospitality alright, but I can't believe that anyone would pay it, with no guarantee it is the real deal.

One positive from the result against Palace though, is that the Newcastle prices have reduced significantly. Two have even been offered for face value since. Again there's no guarantee it is what it says on the tin, but at least it's in a more realistic price range.

Realise it's a long shot but if anyone can get ahold of a spare for me for tomorrow's game, I'll be very grateful. Can meet at the ground or pick it up from anywhere across North West. Cheers.
