Very true Si , the trick is to let them know that you're on to them with the odd low ball remark about their absents  during the not so good days .

Finances always dictates if I can get over or not and this season I just haven't had the money but I know people who could easily afford to go but are only now deciding that they want to.

Suddenly EVERYONE wants a ticket.....funny that isnt it....I wonder why ??

I cant begin to tell you how many phone calls, text messages, fb messages I've had from people asking me for tickets.....where were these people at the beginning of the season ??

Tell them to buy a membership and get their own like everybody else Cas .

Personally, I've been super skint this season, but no way would I try and take a ticket this late in the game, though I am coming up for the Newcastle game, for the craic.

Cheapest ticket advertised on the open market for the Palace game is 800 quid. Our section is about double that. Some of the Newcastle game prices are double that again. Now people do get desperate alright, but seriously does anyone buy at those prices?

The club figures a newbies £40 is as good as a loyal supporters £40 plus the newbie is likely to spend £200 in the shop!!
Loyalty went out of the window in favour of economics a long time ago. And I doubt we are the worst

On this occasion I have to disagree mate, chances to buy for members with stamps happened late last year.  It's our fault for not buying them in plenty of time.

I've got 14 from last season and 12 from this.

Originally I didn't book tickets for this as I thought I would be away on holiday.

Personally, I don't think its fair that someone who has never been to Anfield before (or some scum tout) could possibly get a ticket for a game of this magnitude based on a "luck of the drawer" scenario.

But again, the chance for loyal fans happened November last year.

I'm in exactly the same position.  I didn't buy because we where supposed to be on our honeymoon (now moved to June) but I SHOULD of bought them and passed it on to a mate if I couldn't go.

At this stage of the sale, 3 days before a title deciding clash - the club just want a full house.  Although I don't agree with it....  It's my fault
