Now missed the Norwich game, as opposed to being injured during the Norwich game.

After looking in the Lallana thread and seeing people coming up with songs made me think about Studge. Someone much more creative than me should come up with one for the lad. He's had a fantastic season for us and is a player who feeds on love and attention, could really boost his confidence.

Bit premature with Lallana, are we favourites to get him?

Yeah definitely, seems like a confidence player. A good run of games has got the best out of him since he arrived here but seems to be a bit off the boil lately. Doesn't help that he doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves from media and pundits.

      How's this:

      Danny boy, oh Danny boy
He scores the goals that we enjoy
All he needs, is just one chance
Then we get to see him dance
He found his home in Liverpool
He makes Roman look like a fool

He was poor against Palace.  And do not even begin with this 'OH BUT HE SCORED' or 'HE WAS BACK FROM INJURY' bollocks.  How daft do you have to be to do backheel after backheel when they're not on???

I said it before and I'll say it again: when he is on his game, he is electric.   The problem is: you can flip a coin to tell when he will be on his game or not.  Sometimes he decides to show up, sometimes he doesn't.

Next season the starting front three should be Suarez + Sterling plus a world class attacker.

I know a lad that could fill that role pretty well... Daniel Sturridge!

What the F**k Fed, the lad has nearly scored a goal a game for us while having to come back from 2 injuries. I thought he was average in the first half but 2nd half he stepped it up with some lovely link up play, hitting the post and scoring a goal.

Sturridge is pure quality on his day he's absolutely unplayable and all I think will happen next season is that there'll more days when Sturridge has his day. He's 24 years old and scoring that amount of goals, love the lad, think he just needs more love from us to be honest.

You said it right there mate.  On his day, he is indeed unplayable.  The problem is, half the time, it's not his day.  And there's no way to tell when his day is.  Sunderland away, Cardiff away, just to name a few----he was unplayable.  But half the time he isn't "on his day."  Whereas you could never say that about Suarez---how often does he have a stinker?  practically never.  He always gives 100% and is always a team player.

I addressed this earlier in the thread as well: that when Sturridge is NOT on his game, he becomes selfish and forgets the team.  When Suarez has the odd poor game, he STILL is a team player.  that's the difference between the two of them.

We've had to endure 2 periods of Suarez getting lengthy bans Fed. He has bad moments too and he's still probably the best player in the world at the moment. You're judging against the highest possible standards. Nobody in our team really measures up that well against Luis at the moment.

Sturridge hasn't had that much first team football considering his age, certainly not as a striker. He's only going to get better as Luis is more mature now and trying to suggest that only half the time is his day is judging the lad poorly again.

Get some proper full/wing-backs who can supply these lads with the service they deserve and there'll be many more Sturridge days next season. 21 goals in the league this season, that's outstanding and he should have every fan supporting him in my opinion.

21 league goals and currently 2nd highest goal scorer. I think our front three is all right lad.

I seriously wish it was a ban-able offense to be so negative, some of the fair weather fans on this forum need to have a word with themselves. Get behind the Men that have given it their all this entire season to put us in this position. Sickens me how some on here claim to be supporters, you are anything but.
