The fact we knew Suarez was going, that Studge was prone to injury, that Balotelli was a final week second choice signing, and the resultant situation that means we are now relying on Borini and Lambert as our second striker after spending £115m, is evidence that someone has majorly screwed up at Anfield

Can't help thinking this is a serious case of mismanagement

Looking at JD'S post i didn't realise he has had so many injuries, some players are more prone to injuries than others,Owen was just the same,it could also be the modern training methods, can't remember Dalglish or Rush picking up so many injuries.

So, it's now plainly obvious through JD's injury breakdown that Studge can't be relied upon to be the spearhead of our attack.

Brendan and the board better fu*king wake up pretty damn quick and realise that they're going to have to go out and spend big in January. Providing that is, that we're still in this year's CL competition and still in contention for a top four finish in the PL to attract a 'named' capable player.

This should have been the ideal year for us to stake our claim on being serious contenders for permanent CL residency taking away the Arses mantle. Four or five high quality players should have been bought and lessons should have been learnt from the Spuds. Fu*k depth of squad for all of the cup competitions, there are only two competitions that we should be concentrating on right now - PL and CL. Instead, we're now faced with the fact that if Brendan can't right this seasons ship and fu*king quick sharp, then I fear it'll be another five years of CL wilderness.

FSG's policy is driving me mental   and the sooner they realise that Champions League spots in the Premier League don't come cheap, the better.

Absolutely mental that we didn't get another striker in the summer. Even more mental when you consider we were actively trying to get rid of Borini as well.

Screw the fa cup, screw the league cup. They have lost their luster over the years and have become annoying hindrances to one extent or the other. Just like international friendlies.

Sure it's nice to win a cup here and there, and yes they're great for giving fringe players and the youth a go. But EPL and ECL are the big two and that's where we really want to be. Anything else is a waste of time, money, and effort nowadays.

Still trying to figure out what the hell Remy had to ''FAIL'' the medical with us
He is playing well when used by mourinne, and looks pretty healthy to me with his runs
Did not realize that Danny had so many frequent injuries , maybe cause he had a good  long injury free period last  season

Unless our remaining strikers step up to it esp. Mario , we are there to struggle to get a goal

It makes the fact that they didn't have a plan for Suarez leaving even more questionable.

Looks to average an injury every 1-2 months during the season.

A great option - when he's fit, but simply cannot be relied upon for a full season.

Real bad news for Daniel and the team, with so many important games coming up, hope he is fit to resume in the side very shortly.

Got a feeling of 09/10 and 10/11 about him at the moment. Both them seasons we struggled to get a main player fit and playing (Torres and Gerrard). Injuries galore. For such a good Sports Science team they don't seem to have Sturridge sorted yet. They managed to sort Gerrard out so fingers crossed they can with Sturridge because we can't afford to be without him like.

Well seems we need as least three strikers who can score to move up the table. As this season could be a complete disaster hope origo an joint us as quick as possible.

The Origi idea depends on if we placed a clause in his loan contract that would allow us to call him back from his loan in January. Lille won't want to release him from his loan 6 months early on their own free will that's for sure.
