They should cut him from the squad for the Euros...best thing for us...rest and get over with Jürgen and the boys early.

Might be a blessing in disguise this if it means Woy takes Rashford to France instead.

They should cut Hodge and put Sturridge in charge. England would have a better chance at winning something that way.

Barcelona only have Messi, Suarez and Neymar as established strikers and they have Haddadi and Ramirez as backup. They don't have a very good fourth striker. We have Sturridge, Firmino, Origi with Benteke, Ings and Ojo as backup. When you consider Firmino is 24, Origi 21 and Sturridge 26... then look at the fact that Messi is 28, Suarez 29..... Barcelona like Real Madrid have done very well on the back of players like Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez... but they are aging.. Ronaldo is 31 now.. so providing we keep our players we will have one of the best striker forces around.
THIS thing; what you are saying here, has to be tongue in cheek, yes

In fairness to the situation, he's probably just got a calf strain but because it's 'Daniel Sturridge' and because there are no major signings yet and Maureen hasn't officially moved to United yet, the tabloids are blowing it up to be something it's not. If it was any other player it wouldn't be newsworthy.

You mean end of season? Bit of a stupid idea really as they wouldn't be able to fit all the qualifiers and tournament in during the summer.

Plus only really a strain and it's no one's fault really that Sturridge is made of glass!

Woy has worked his magic again on Sturridge it seems. :(

Sturridge should just retire from Internationals until Woy is no longer in charge or perhaps just retire from Internationals - period.

I think Jürgen will give him the chance to prove he is both physically and mentally strong to cope (which he has not yet done at any club) and if he is we have an £80mil player if he doesn't he will be out.

Yea, think after Jürgen 'faced Studge down' (during that period where he was on a tailored regime) and getting him fit again, he'll keep him. Hopefully we'll reap the benefits.
WTF is it with England though, it's his kryptonite injurywise...

Just as long as he is fit for us come the start of the season I'm not bothered if he ends up missing Ingerland games.

I feel for Danny I really do. He's probably the most naturally and technically gifted English striker I've seen in my life and he gets treated with such contempt by so many, no less the England manager. A man of his wonderful talent deserves better. I hope Jürgen can give that to him next year.

Really makes me wonder what kind of training they do with England because nearly every time he is with the national team he ends up injured. Bunch of clowns.
