Just watching the lengthy interview at LFC TV with Daniel and, not having heard him speak at length before, I'm realizing he is quite an intelligent young man (something I don't necessarily say about many footballers. :-) - Showed more humility than he sometimes comes across as having on the pitch or in sound bytes. I am impressed.

This could be a season defining moment for Sturridge where we moves to the world class category.

30+ goals and he'll be valued at £70+ million

      Fingers crossed for his fitness

      Love him.

the only concern for Daniel is his fitness his ability is second to none if he is fit he will score plenty of goals.

So injured once again eh (hip). Will miss next two games and could be doubtful for Arsenal.

I am not sure if Jürgen's patience will take too kindly to another season of injuries for Daniel.Maybe we should pad him up in training what is a "hip" injury is it a knock or something else with him

To be fair, you don't have to rhyme Sturridge with anything - you could use Daniel, Danny or Studge. However, I think we should just sing his name to the jingle of Injury Lawers for You...

Disappointing not to have Studge available. Just a niggle - or the pattern for another season?! Hopefully the former.
In saying that, he might not have started anyway - thank God Origi looks like he's continuing his good form of last season end.

Judging by previous it will be the pattern mate.

Just have to hope when he is fit he is firing the goals in and when he's injured its not a lengthy layoff.

I get the feeling Jürgen isn't impressed with his fitness problems and he is no use to him when injured but I seem to remember Mr Shankly
wouldn't speak to injured players. FFS the lad deserves some good fortune fitness wise.
      Frankly, Mr Shankly

With the ball at his feet Danny is still capable of magic. But I just don't think he moves as well off the ball as he did three years ago at his peak. Don't know whether that is a perception skewed by the spate of injuries he's had but it's a thought that just won't shift in my mind and because of that it's becoming harder to make the case for him in the starting eleven.

F**k was waiting to get some money into the account so I could get on him at 26's to be top scorer this season and now this. Who knows how long he will be out for?

I love Origi, but a fit Sturridge has to start in my eyes. Look at that goal in the Europa final. No one in our team except him can do that.

That's fine but everyone in the team brings something different.

Mignolet brings uncertainty and panic, Moreno brings comedy and pure stupidity, Origi is a huge threat for opposition defence and is much better at holding the ball than Sturridge.

To be honest, if both are fit, I would play them both. Will play Origi as an inside striker. We would be deadly. But I'm not  Klopp, I only play FM.

It's not comedy, it's far from it. It's worrying.
