His best position is CM with henderson with a DM behind them like the poetry in motion season.

None of this RW, LW nonsense.

Agree I see Coutinho as a number 10 or CAM. Sticking him out on the left is pointless when he always cuts back in to the middle anyway.

No surprise really its 3 weeks or so maybe need to check with fat Sam to see if this is correct he seems to know what is going on with our players.
For me he hasn't been on his best form this season whether it was having his head turned by Barca I don't know but he can do so much more with the talent he has .

Real pity Cou not available for Arse or Utd.  Going to need Klopp to work miracles to get results with the current injury list.  Get better soon Phil!!!

Congrats Phil on the new baba.

Do you think the stress of a pregnant missus has affected his performances? I know it affected my work performance when you have a hormonal wife crying at everything from baked beans to an advert for Sainsburys 😜

Yeah saw that too Debs....any chance he missed the last couple of weeks to be by the missus' side just in case she popped?

They don't usually mate, not before anyway.  They occasionally miss training afterwards but not many miss matches because they've taken their Leave that I can think of but he's certainly entitled to it if he chose to take it, just like every new Dad/Civil Partner in the UK  :gt-happyup:

All's good lad, getting better. Good thing is we're actively trying again for a new baby so at least that's a bit more fun than watching the shower we're getting treated too on the pitch atm   :P

Have we missed Phil ? Eh, yes.

My MOTM today, always probing, always looking to open up the defense a la the pass for Origi.  The creativity he gives us.

Love watching this guy play, we need to keep him in the summer.

It's not just the obvious creative passing, it's the little things he does too. Little touches here or there. Coutinho has been greatly missed.

He's a different class of player in comparison with some of the others in our squad. I hope we can keep hold of him. Apparently no one is showing interest in him, I'm massively surprised by that.

Fantastic talent especially when he has movement up front. Delight to watch when he's on his game.

Looks like the time off has done him some good. Also doesn't hurt that he and Danny seem to communicate telepathically.
