Ha ha ha ha.....pmsl  and to be perfectly honest with you, I completely forgot all about this, had a few to many

From watching him play. Saw him a few times for Villa last season and genuinely thought that when the brought in Aly Cissokho, during the summer, he was an upgrade on Bertrand, despite having seen Aly play for us.

Agree mate, as I've mentioned plenty of times, I don't watch other teams play or know what their players are like, so when it comes to prospective signings, I look for posters thoughts on what they think about certain players. I remember quite clearly a couple of seasons ago when we were looking at this fella, plenty of posters on here were saying he was sh*t, wouldn't fit into our team, why are we looking at him, he's not LFC material, blah, blah,blah....so being the naive Football person I am, I took it as Gospel this lad wasn't good enough to be at this a Great Club. Not only have I had him in my Fantasy Premier League team all season, just seen he has been named as LB in the PFA team of the season!!! That's why when posters critisize players we are now looking at, I take their opinion with a grain of salt! Still respect their opinion but have decided to make my own mind up by studying the said Player.

I would add his team mate Arfield to this list too works his socks off and gets into some good positions on both ends of the field.

We've recently been linked with Trippier, was just a crappy source though. I saw Arfield a few times live when I was at Huddersfield Uni, I wish some of our lads had his work ethic on the pitch at times.
