Underrated Players You Rate

I feel Demblele is underrated a little. He's a top player and is controlling Tottenham's midfield after the loss of Modric and VDV. He should score more but his overall ability at controlling the game is very good and should be rated higher IMO.

Also I think Michael Carrick is underrated too. Been awesome for United this season, and has shown maturity at controlling play and helping their defence.

Thought about Dembele too mate - has also adjusted his physique to cope with football here too.

Some great names in here and Dembele and Ivanovic are two add have in my list. Very good players and Ivanovic in particular doesn't get the recognition he deserves at times.

Mentioning Dembele brings up another I think is very underrated especially on here and it's the guy we should have bought in the summer.

Clint Dempsey.

Strong, physical player with much better technique than he gets credit for and scores goals from any position he plays in, and he can play in many.

Very good player and worth every penny of what Spurs paid for him.

I really like Dembele as well. He's impressed me a lot this season, he and Sandro grew together as a great midfield partnership - possibly the league's best. It's sad for Spurs to have lost Sandro for the rest of the season given how well they were playing together.

And I believe one of our own is way under rated, if he played at Arsenal he'd get a lot more praise Danny Agger

People don't rave about Santi Cazorla as much as they should. He's an amazing player. Love watching him play.

I agree with you Crouch. I actually enjoy watching Santi Cazorla play. I feel he's very, very amazing.

Also another player which I've always felt was a pretty good player is Sebastian Larsson. For some reason I quite like him.

And of course the other names already mentioned such as Al Habsi, Kevin Nolan, Lennon and Steven Fletcher.

Larsson is another decent choice.

Maybe not a top level player but definitely better than he gets credit for.

Olivier Giroud (Arse) Gets laughed at when in all honesty he has a more than decent return for his first season in the league. Good presence up front for them too

Julio Cesar (QPR) Best keeper in the league thus far for me - he's still got it.

Kerim Frei (Fulham) Very rarely plays but when he does shows flashes of talent. Might be suited to a different league though.

Leon Britain (Swansea) Love the way he plays the game. Still controlling and dictating play in Swanseas midfield along with De Guzman

For Man City it has to be Zabaletta and Dzeko. Without them this season City would be struggling for CL places.

AnnyRd - I'd say Zabaleta is well known, at least to City fans, as probably their best player this year, ahead of Kompany. He's been superb. Dzeko too is their most consistent striker at the moment.

And I think Charlie Austin is definitely not underrated in the Championship! Be interesting to see if he can make the step up as he seems set to do. I saw Everton were linked with him in Jan.

Agree with the Cazorla shout. Arsenal fans obviously love him but I think he is still a little underrated by some who think the form he started in was going to be the level throughout. If he had kept that consistently brilliant he'd be one of the best players in the Premiership by now! It's amazing to think such a talent still barely plays for Spain though!

Zabaleta is another.

I remember posting about him after watching the u23 Argentina team in the Olympics. He really stood out as a top fullback.
