Heartfelt sympathies to Kolo and the Toure family. A horrible disease, as I know only too well, and his brother was no age, 28 is just too young to die!

Fabio I can still understand him wanting to stay and fight as he a player Rodgers wanted when he first came on, but Toure and Assaidi, what can you say? They are not going to be even on the bench I think, what's the point in staying.

I think its a good thing in a way.

They all sense that were onto something big silverware wise and they're holding out because they want to be a part of it.

I'd rather keep Coates than Toure.

Him staying definitely puts paid to the chances of either Coates or Ilori stopping.

I know he's brilliant for morale but is it at a cost...of development? From what I've seen of Coates in the WC and pre-season he's more than capable of doing the same job as Toure.

Sadly has turned into a liability of a defender been piss poor since middle last season and i dont see him improving any time soon .Was once a good player that time has sadly past him by.

He saved a chance of theirs. 

Then created one with the pen.

If you actually spend some time watching him, he is continually having a pop at the other players then fails to make a decent pass or something as simple as telling another defender MAN ON.

Simple stuff you'd think for a man with his CV.

But he's great banter isn't he.

Got to love kolo for his comedy value, Now that we have lost Cisshoko.

Put the fear of god in me when he stepped up for a penalty.
Laughed me arse off when he thumped it bottom corner and the keeper just fell over.
