It's crazy how much his performances have changed recently. He's gone from being a disaster on a regular basis to man of the match material in every single game since this "conversation" with his wife. Personally, I just think she just started putting out a bit more haha!

It is surprising the affect a woman can have on a feller if she threatens to stop or increase his rations as any married man should know.

Reminds me of Dudek in a way. He can be solid as a rock then look like he can't catch a cold. Most important part is that he ultimately isn't good enough, no matter how solid he looks now, you just know he's got mistakes in him all the time.

Let's not go nuts :D Courtois is comfortably in the top 5 keepers in the world and arguably the second best. Mignolet has 15 games of good form.

Over the last 15 games, Mignolet has been comfortably better. Courtois save to shot ratio has gone to sh*t recently. Obviously Courtois is better - he certainly deserves to be in conversation about the best keepers in the world. But some managers choose on form.

I think there's more chance of him dropping Hazard than Courtois.

Against Cyprus and Isreal? I disagree (on the proviso that Migs continues his excellent form and Courtois continues his meh form)

That said, this is all said with no idea of what Wilmots is actually like as a manager.

I still don't have any confidence in him saving a penalty.

Has he saved one since that Southampton game at the start of last season? Just asking the question.

      It was Stoke city mate.
And he certainly did came close to most of the penalties against Besiktas(3 of which were buried into the top corner). As i recall he had a great penalty shootout against shitty in pre season ;D

They were good pens but he was diving to the middle of the net, never up high or down low so balls are either going to go over or under him assuming the other player can take a pen.

Can't remember that to be honest.

I definetly thought he should have at least saved the 4th, but it's done now, let's hope when he next gets a chance, he saves that mother f**ker!

Apart from their goal, which was quality and no point in denying it, I don't recall him having a save to make.

Only thing I remember him being a bit questionable was when Aguero hit the post but it was probably one of them situations where if he comes right out then he'd have probably of been chipped/rounded or take up the position he did and hope for the best. Luckily the post came to our rescue. But saying that, the defence were split open by the ball through far too easily so it done Migs no favours.

The New Migs just can't stop coming off his line culminating in the flying head butt on Aslhley Barnes I think  ;D

Had another top game last night, looks very safe and comfortable coming for the ball, you can see how much more comfortable he is in the box and how much confidence he's got in himself and his defenders, good to see. Keep up the good work Simon.

Yep deffo Cas. Looks a different player.

Just wondering why he went back into his shell that first 45 minutes of that Citeh game where he looked like he did earlier in the season?

He nearly had a clanger again when Aguero hit the post.

Lucky Migs was back to his best the last 45 mins. Long may it continue,.

made up for him hes turned it around seems like a nice bloke but maybe that was the issue he was to nice. now he seems to have fire in his belly and is comming and winning crosses more. he will never replace the character of Reina but he can certainly be a top keeper for years to come.

He only needs one more clean sheet to exceed his [Premier League] career best 11.

I fully understand and appreciate why some people may not like to credit clean sheets to the keeper - it is, after all a team game but... the simple fact is he has played his part with saves made during those games. Keep 'em coming Simon.
