Simply not good enough. Probably a nice enough fella but doesn't inspire confidence.

Top transfer priority in the summer should have been a first choice keeper.

We give Bogdan a chance agaisnt Carlisle and maybe Migs realizes he has some serious comptetition and sorts himself out. It's his only hope.

Don't be silly mate, almost guaranteed Bogdan is gonna start and Mig will be straight back for Villa ;)

how many people were damned for saying he wasnt good enough and that we needed a proper challenge for Migs. Well if Migs form doesnt improve we really are fu**ed. DeGea did what he does for UTD yesterday and it won them the match that is the difference Migs may lose us the game but he will never win it for us

oops sorry mate thought you were from Oz.   ;D

would still have Ryan here in a heartbeat.  No chance now as he's gone to Spain just this summer.

anyone think Lloris would come to us?

French captain isn't he, maybe Sakho could bend his ear. Doubt Levy would sell to a premier league club mind you.

      Not a problem mate.

I really rate Lloris but don't think we'd be ambitious enough to try and poach him. Fantastic keeper and exactly the type of player we need back there to breed confidence and set the tempo of the game.

Haha Lovren best be sat on the bench for a good while, Mama has more than earned this chance he deserves a long spell as first choice.

Was mentioning him as Reina's replacement when he was still at Lyon, think he is a very good goalie.

Not a chance Spurs would sell.

Brendan will probably say Migs did an Outstanding job on the bench and needs to come straight back in!

This c**t needs to stop punching and start catching balls.

Everytime he approaches to punch the ball, my balls drop.

In all seriousness, his game would be so much better if he stopped punching the ball and started catching. Imo, he's a good shot stopper. However, the amount of times he's knocked the ball back into play from shot stopping or a punch is worrying and very costly. At times, the rebounds that do lead to soft goals could simply be prevented if he just stayed his line or if he caught the ball.

Thats my two cents. What does everyone else think?

The sad thing is that if I was manager tomorrow, Mignolet would be the first man I'd be looking to replace. He's playing at the level you wouldn't expect of a relegation fighting side. His kicking is appalling. His inability or refusal to throw out of goal is so obvious. Sure - his shot stopping is excellent but you feel that ability is negated by the loss of goals stemming from a lack of confidence from the defence and a lack of authority in his own area.

That said, when you've got a defence with Skrtel and Lovren in there it works both ways. CD and GK - rotten to the core. Brendan's failure to address these critical matters will be his downfall sadly. I doubt many of us would be so angry if it weren't so obvious.

Dropping too many clangers ! Needs dropping himself, certainly must unsettle an already shaky defence.

Mignolet needs to be upgraded upon ASAP. There should be a fair number of takers from mid table clubs.

Made a point of watching him during the 2nd half as I was in the Lower Annie.

The lad had a bit of a surge during the arse end of last season and had a few of us saying he'd proved us wrong.

Don't know what's happened to him but he's gone backwards again. Indecisive, his kicking is well below what is expected of a top premier league keeper nowadays and he's shut up again. Didn't hear a peep out of him.

I could take some of his flaws like his kicking if he was this beast of a keeper who commanded his box, instilled faith into his CBs, barked out orders and let people knew he was the boss of his box and let hardly F**k all past him but he is bang average I'm afraid.

Goalkeeping became a lot more than being a decent shot stopper from 18 yards a long time ago. I'd play Adam Bogdan at Sion on Thursday and if he has a good game throw him in for the Derby.

Well done yesterday Simon, 3 brilliant saves.

What I noticed is that when the ball is not moving, he has a good distribution but when the ball is rolling, he is frightened and the ball is lost in the stands.

Top saves! If we'd have come up against him in goal we'd be raving about his reactions.
