LFC Reds Prediction League 2013-14

Sigh... I see the "bigger fan than thou" sentiment has raised it's ugly head again.

* Predicting a loss on a forum game has zero influence on the actual result.

* Predicting a loss on a forum game does not mean that you want a loss in real life.

* The chances of any team making it through a Premier League season without losing are extremely slim.

* Predicting a Liverpool win in every game will pretty much guarantee you will not win this competition.

Give it a rest, eh?

MsG predicted a loss and you will struggle to find a bigger fan of the club.

Thankyou Rep......it's not what I wanted to happen, it's what I thought would happen, and on this occasion I was correct, I predicted a score draw today, it's a bloody good job I didn't predict a 2-1 loss, the knives would have been out !!!

I don't  have  a problem if you sell your soul to win the competition...... but I will not do   it . I don't know why you  are so offended   ....that was my own opinion

I actually predicted we would get one point from the two games against City and Chelsea so clearly I'm not being pessimistic enough!

I was more than a shade overoptimistic Steve,I went for 6-0.

I went for 3-0. Bloody Coutinho with that amazing run then hits it straight at the Keeper. Gutted.

Switched mine from 4-0 to 3-1 when we got even more injuries and they hit 6 past Fulham. Cost myself a point! Was unlucky there Aussie, although the way he'd been shooting all game I expected him to miss it. If he adds that killer finish to his game he'll get that 'world class' tag pretty quickly.

Agree Luke. He'll find his scoring boots again mate, then we'll have him, Luis, Daniel and hopefully a few others all banging in goals.  Mouthwatering.

You're doing well lad, I've had a long haul up from the depths of this league right on your tail now! I was being way too optimistic with our early scores and had a goal difference something like Bubby's, can only assume he was doing something similar.

If your dramatic fall from grace from the top of the Fantasy premier league is anything to go by, then probably not 
I've had two 3rd place finishes in the last 3 seasons, its got to be my year!

I work on the "theory" that when a big or 'weird' score happens I'll be one of the few (if not the only one) to get it. And that's how I'd prefer to climb the table... the path less travelled?

Only four points behind with not a single negative prediction and a crazy goal difference... that'll do for me. Nine - three in the Oldham game and the gap's closed.

Could have gone for something a little less predictable! Seriously though if you get that right and haven't had a small bet on it you'll be gutted. £1 on it and they'd offer you close to 1000/1 I reckon.

My prediction is probably similar to most 4 or 5 - 0 for this one. I know we lost to them last year but I think that'll work as motivation and I just can't see Brendan allowing another slip up. Like you say though, if I get it, most will too so your tactic is certainly backed by logic.

Feel like I need us to have a decent cup run for me to have any chance of fighting my way back in to the top 10.

I don't learn do I Billy! I'd previously predicted 5-1 for today's game so am stuck with it is I NEVER change my predictions.

First season I've done this and currently in the top 20 and the only one there without a perfect score.  Gone for 7-1 today so doubt I'll get that perfect score but I'm not changing it

I also look at the table in the same way as you debs, I look for the highest placed person without a perfect score as been so high up without a 7pt prediction is a great achievement, having said that Debs you are the highest but not the only one in the top 20 !

Thought I was Steve but that's a bit better if I'm not.  Gives me hope that I can stay up there even with silly (overly optimistic) predictions 

I'm quite pleased with my 55th place showing thus far - especially as my "sabbatical" had me missing a number of games.

No need mate, It won't last, the only thing I've ever won before is a pink cuddly hippo toy! Oh! And tickets to an REM concert that I already had tickets for!
