Rodgers bought three of them - Sahko, Lovren, Toure - and coaches them every day so it all comes back to whoever the boss is. He needs to sort it out one way or the other.

He would he the ideal partnership with Sakho just like Varane and Sakho for France.

Unfortunately I can't see Sakho staying with Skrtel ahead of him...........One of Brendans blind spots we will only ever dud over when he departs the club.

I think this guy will already be better than Lovren by this summer..

I really rate Tiago Ilori - he's a huge talent who could become one of the best central defenders in Europe in a few years time.

There are similarities with Raphael Varane in the way he is so calm and composed on the ball and not a lot phases him plus he likes to play football too (I'd say he's quicker than Varane too). He just needs to sort out his injury problems and play on a consistent basis and then he should be knocking on the manager's door for a spot in the first team next season.

He can quite easily play where Emre Can is currently situated on the right of a back three and once he is up to the pace of the Premier League he could partner Mamadou Sakho for years to come in a back four.

That cracked me up. Dejan Lovren would have plenty of scope for game time too with all the competitions we are in (Champions League, European Super Cup and World Club Championship).
