not sure why people are calling it a stupid mistake - he knows better and will now receive a lengthy ban.
he has broken serious rules and this should call into question his role going forward.
i would have no issue whatsoever selling him, this and his ropey performances outweigh the positives he brings.
his first job is to be a footballer and the rest is secondary - the impression that i get from reading here is that his footballing is suspect - but as he comes across like a good person and has done loads of good work off field that his performances and importance will get the treatment where it is 'overhyped'
He's been nothing short of brilliant alongside Lovren the past couple of months.
The one dodgy game they both had, they scored the winning goals in the most amazing comeback Anfield has seen.
He has fu**ed up here but he deserves our support after all he has done on
and off the pitch. His passion for the club, the city and his charity work for the club
as well as his excellent recent performances mean he shouldn't be thrown under the bus.
He will get a ban, and rightly so, but that doesn't make him a bad person. And the club is lucky to have someone like him representing it.
Knock this sh*t off with all the criticism of his character.
