Oddly enough he is fantastic for France, so a wild guess here maybe it's our system and irrespective of who plays at the back they would all look equally rubbish.
And looks like there is something in my theory as Skrtel and Lovren are not pulling up any trees either.
I actually agree with you i have watched him for France and he seemed a lot more comfortable , the other pair as you say are hardly setting the world on fire in fact our whole defence is fcking shocking school boy stuff on times ,its what ultimately cost us the league last year and nothing so far this year has improved, i don,t know if we have a specific defence coach but if we do he should be sacked as an imposter ,because either he cant do the job or the players cant follow basic instructions and defend.
Our defence is a laughing stock at the moment and every team fancies their chances against us ,on the flip side i.d have Sako in that defence anywhere instead of Toure who certainly has become an imposter of a defender good in his day that day has come and gone goalkeeper must sh*t himself when he see,s that guy warming up .
