      The FA Cup 2013-14
      Sep 11, 2013 11:44:27 am
FA Cup Kicks reaches the First Qualifying Round this weekend.  The final is on the 17th May at Wembley.

737 clubs take part in the competition and already 345 have been knocked out in the Preliminary rounds.

116 matches take place this weekend.

      Most FA Cup wins
      11 Man Utd
      10 Arsenal
      8 Spurs
      7 Liverpool, Chelsea, Villa

Surprisingly, of the 6 clubs who have won it most, only Chelsea have won it in the last 7 years.  We last won it in 2006 when we beat West Ham and we were last in the final in 2012 when we lost to Chelsea.

Chelsea have won 4 of the last 7, Portsmouth, Man City and Wigan each winning it once in that time.

We have either Oldham or Mansfield at home. Possible revenge in store for the Oldham defeat last year

I would settle for a CL place and the F.A. cup this season. I think Oldham will find us a little harder to beat this time.

      Or Mansfield

Odd isn't it.. I looked at their tie before the third round thinking it was the two we had last season.

Mansfield took it back to their place with a 1-1..
They look out of form apart from that game though looking at their recent games.

This Blackburn citeh game is decent

Michael Owen but who gave him a job as co-commentator?
Here was his latest observation "great header down from negredo" - very next sentence "that was a poor miss"

;D and apparently citeh there wanted to sub dzeko but got their numbers mixed up and took off negredo
Me thinks someone at that club needs to brush up on their numbers after the bayern fiasco

The draw for the 4th round is held at 2pm tomorrow so we'll know who we've got before we even kick off to Oldham......not right that.

      Just seen this Cas.

With all the talk of the FA Cup being devalued, I dont agreed by the way, the FA themselves have in a way devalued it a bit with this.

The draw should be after all games at played and I presume this is only like this for TV.

No way you should know who you'll get in the net round before you've even kicked a ball.

West Ham fielding a very weakend team today, bit of a surprise given their first team would have probably lost/maybe scraped a win against Forest. Roy Keanes comments about Downing being captain were amusing!!

Fat Sam isn't classing this as a priority, thought he would have seeing as it would be good to try and get a cup run going to ease their relegation disapointment but hey Fat Sam is a very successful and all time managing great so sure he knows what he's doing.....not! A monkey would do a better job! Come on Forest!!

Like that West Ham away top. Imaging that with red.
