After our game against Arsenal mate.

Thought they said last night that the draw follows the bitters game.

To be fair, they have rested a few players for the Europa League game mid week.

To be fair, they are still sh*t.

I said the same thing in the Arsenal game thread, they had more chance of winning this, that beating Napoli over two legs.

Don't know if it's just me or not but does the FA Cup seem to have lost it's edge this season? As you'd expect, the teams you'd expect to be challenging for it are resting a few players like they do every year but now the likes of Saints, Swansea etc are doing it too when their first choice starting 11's are highly unlikely to win it anyway. These teams are the ones that cause the upsets because they play their strongest teams against the weakened top teams etc but this year doesn't seem to be the case. Just can't believe what I'm seeing when the smaller teams rest players when it is their only chance of winning anything other than a relegation dog fight.

The problem with the FA Cup knower days is many fold.

Far to many teams have other concerns, ie Europe so they rest players.

It is on all over the week end, you have to pay to view it on certain channels.

The prize is entry into the Europa League, that is the second rated european cup competition, where as it used to have it's own european competition.

The likes of Swansea rested players for a midweek game, that they have no chance of winning.

There is no prestige in winning it. The glamour has gone thanks to TV money (Sky) and the need to be in the top 4 and participate in the Champions League.

Well, this thread has died a death, hasn't it?

      Not too sure why.

Watching Hull vs Sunderland, Hull are two up as I type, Correction three, Sunderlands woefulness is making Mr. Potato Heads, "tigers" look quite reasonable.

Wigan winning 2-0 away to city, they have about 40 mins to hang on.

Hopefully it won't be a repeat of the Watford game
