Just sold a lad I brought up through the youth system when I was in the second division for £51 million to PSG. He was a good striker but not worth the money I got for him so I bought a 20 year old centre back to help my defence who is already very good full Spanish international but hopefully improves. Also got some good youngsters back from loans and got rid of some of the worse squad players.

Bought a very good regen up front to replace my old striker I sold plus an exciting young regen also who can slot in anywhere up front.

Playing either a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-1-2-3 depending on the opponent.

Thought I'd try something different so I've downloaded a save which starts in 2033. Liverpool are in the Championship so I'm gonna build them up to become a force again.

Ive just recently started playing the new FM

Had mixed success so far with Liverpool. 3PLs, 1CL, 2 FA cups, 4 League cups.

Suarez is still leading my line at 32. ter Stegen is boss, Luke Shaw is immense, Balanta is a a rock at CB. Wanyama is solid as DM, Draxler is boss playing AML.

Just sold Coutinho to PSG £36M after 6 good seasons. Jerome Sinclair is my backup striker - always gets me goals valued at £23M

What is Lloyd Jones like on your game mate? He's decent on mine. I started an Arsenal save but got sacked after 2 seasons because apparently my results weren't good enough even though I had won 8 league games in a row and was in the semi-finals of the Champions League and FA Cup. I ended up with the bitter's job. Turned them into a decent team and recently got taken over and given a ridiculous transfer kitty. Just started the 2018/19 season, thinking of starting a Schalke or Liverpool save though.

Won the League Cup with Wigan, beat Liverpool in the final :D They played a mixed side though, Conor Coady starting, Brad Jones in goal... not as difficult as I thought.

Billy McKay and Danny Ings are goalscoring machines. Rasmus Falk and Anthony Knockaert are geniuses in Championship level. I'm definitely going up, just have to see if I'll win the Championship or finish in 2nd place. Interested to see how these guys will fare against EPL opposition.

I'm also in the quarter finals of the Europa League, I'll be facing Dortmund :( Beat PAOK and Stuttgart in the previous rounds.

I signed Billy McKay from Inverness in early January for just £1.4M. I'm now in April and he's played 18(4) matches, scored 17 goals and made 7 assists.
Highly recommended signing for the Championship and possibly to smaller teams in the EPL.

Got bored of my Liverpool save so I resigned and signed for Inter.

Very average and ageing players, 10th in the league. Should be a good challenge!

      What's the deal with Co-ownership?

I have Mateo Kovacic in co-ownership with Napoli but he plays for them.

      Any idea how this works?

For example purposes lets say you're AC Milan and Inter Milan make a co-ownership offer for Balotelli and you accept it, Balotelli will then move to Inter but you will still own 50% of him.

Sorry really clueless about this, but then what's the point if he can't play for me? :D

Keep stake in young players not ready for the first team yet. You can also buy 50% of a player and agree that he stays at his current club. After a certain time period the co-ownership ends with both teams submitting private bids to Italian FA, highest bid gets the player. For example if you submitted a bit of 10mill to Italian FA and Napoli bidded 11mill you'd receive 11mill and they'd keep the player.

There's a drop down box to select which club he plays for.

Make sure it's selected for your club if you want to keep him and sell only 50%.

I'm getting tired of my teams too fast!

Want to start a new save but don't know where... perhaps Spain (I was thinking of Valencia) or trying to bring Lyon back as a major force in France.

Started a new game with Frankfurt and won the Bundesliga with them. Made it to the semifinals of the UEL but lost to Man City, aggregate result 5-4 :( Frankfurt are one of the best mid-table teams to play with. Lots of talented players and potential to become a major force. Sebastian Jung is my favourite right back in the game.

Couldn't be bothered transferring all my saves on to my new laptop so I started a new one, I thought I'd try something different so I'm managing the San Jose Earthquakes in the MLS. Very different to your typical league but it's actually quite fun.

      Yep!

Got a boss Levante team now with all regens and top of the league after 22 games by 10 points.

Also in the Spanish Cup final and the knock outs of the Europa.

Steam always seems to be more expensive than other places. I paid £22 for it in Feb on the Game website, it was the download version.

About 4 months until the new one comes out and it takes about 4 months before you start enjoying the game so I'd wait if it was me. Just read earlier on in this thread and you'll see enough to make your mind up ;)
