Liverpool Ladies will play in the Women's Champions League next season after Arsenal were deducted points on Monday.

The Gunners ladies were deducted three points after fielding an unregistered player in the league, during the win over Liverpool on August 3.

This now means Arsenal cannot catch Liverpool, and Champions League football is now secured for the 2014 season. The top two teams in the Super League qualify for the competition.

ohhh so close!! great peice of skill on the left side and the ball is given to Fords who take the shot after a couple of touches in the penalty area and fired a shot low just inches passed the left post of the keeper...

Our left side is defo where we can make the difference so far..each time we get the ball on the wing there, you just can feel something will happen...Fords and Rosler combinating well again and in a space of 2 minutes Rosler have two shots on targets well saved by the keeper..

Our captain Bonner gets the first yellow of the game, rightly so, by stopping Del rio on a dangerous run on the left..the free kick who follow is played in our box and the keeper punch it away..

The respect shows to the ref in that game is exemplary...20 minutes on and not 1 player has been seen swearing or shouting to the ref..just saying..

Come on ref that is a yellow! Bonner gets fouled clearing the ball, their number 9 tackles but caugh Bonner ankle..defo yellow in my book.

30 minutes on, Liverpool still controlling the ball, not a clear chances for a while now tho..a dangerous ball into the bristol penalty area and Dowie get penalised for a foul (never ref!!!)

Following that, a minute later Rosler have a shot from the left side of the penalty area and its juuuuust above the bar..

Rosler again!! Great little run into the space just in front the penalty area (bristol think she is outside) juust inside actually and her shot is saved and passed just inches from the right post..
