      Lovely.
      Nice and simple.

Hopefully NB can improve the quality while they're at it.

Weird to rebrand themselves (Warrior) just as they were buiding up a name in football kits/boots (good or bad name not sure)
Maybe New balance is like a disguise or the execs think it will be.
Seem to remember New balance neing like a cheapo brand that no kids wanted to wear years ago, unless I'm rememnbering it wrong
      Like Hitec or dunlop. bizarre.

They seem very popular now judging by the kids that come into our shop.

      I've no idea Stuey mate.

I normally wear Adidas or Nike but as I said I've seen quite a few kids wearing NB lately.

Same as Si with the Nike, somebody bought me a pair of NB for me birthday or Crimbo years ago - I ended up lashing them for fear of being ridiculed.

I have a simple rule, if the trainers last more than 3 months, I'll buy another pair.  Spent everything between £20 and £120 and it doesn't seem to make a difference and as I go through so many pairs, eight last year,  I'll stick to the lower end of the spectrum, never cared about branding, even as a kid.

My rule now is pretty much buying the slightly older pair on sale for half the price of the newest colour.

      More from Kit:

      I love that.

Very nice indeed, both of them, well done Kitster. I love simple things, but no way they will leave it that plain, they have to add.... whatever

New Balance here in the states are good running shoes but don't have the reputation or coolness factor that Nike and Adidas have. I would be really surprised if we see a New Balance logo on our kits, not to mention a little disappointed. In my opinion it cheapens our kit to have them as the manufacturer with their logo on there.

New Balance are actually very hip and fashionable nowadays, at least in my country. I'd even say it's been quite a hype for a while now, they're everywhere. I think it's the same in the UK. It's mostly the classic 574 model that's very popular.

Not like Warrior is a better brand than New Balance. At least New Balance has a worldwide reputation, Warrior has none.

Must be a cultural thing, kids in the states did the 574 look years ago, now it's crazy colored shoes and even crazier colored socks. New balance over here isn't a "hip" brand with today's youth. And you are right, Warrior doesn't have a better reputation, the only good thing they had going for them is that they were "new". I would still prefer we went with Nike. To me their kit designs are tops.

Yeah, they came back here about 2 years ago. Apparently people like Rihanna, Kanye West etc. have caused the brand to rise in popularity. What you say about crazy colours actually counts for New Balance here. It's the combination of that vintage model in all sorts of bright colour combinations what makes it popular right now I think.

I agree on Nike though, it's a solid football brand. And I like Adidas as a football brand too. But technically we're continueing under our current contract with Warrior, switching to Nike or Adidas doesn't seem an option. The thing with Warrior being so unknown basically meant in my country at least that i'd rarely run into a Liverpool shirt in any shops, used to be alot different with Adidas.

I quite like the black Garuda training top and was going to ask my son to get me one for crimbo but having had a proper look at them on official site, wtf is going on with the grey spodge on the back??

Might go for a nice, snuggly hoodie instead.
