There used to be one in Belfast years ago but it closed down.

No moral outrage from me, but I am surprised that these have been chosen as a partner purely on the image of 'the brand'. Is this really the best we could do?

Britain will soon be getting its first drive-thru doughnut shops after Dunkin' Donuts returned to the country for the first time in 20 years
      Nice mmmmmmmmmmm .

Real madrid are doing a deal with coca cola 70m apparently.

Seriously shocked by this, deep fried dough.

Not exactly the image a professional sports team should be advocating in my opinion.

We have a global obesity crisis and we are being associated with a major cause of it, cheap, high calorific, fatty food.

But I guess money talks, and when money talks morals go out of the window.

They are not too bad for you if you just eat the hole in the middle.

Whilst the ever growing commercial/globalisation of football continues to eat away at my soul, all I really care about is are they still going to sell Bovrils?

I would have a hell of a lot more problem with being sponsored by a loan shark ala the barcodes

Look, the question we all want to know is can we get them at Anfield..?! Who does the catering now - I would guess they would have to stock them no..?

Personally I prefer Krispy Kreme - but perhaps that's just me...

Correct me if I'm wrong but is this not just a commercial partnership rather than a shirt sponsor? All articles seem like it is a partnership.

If this is the case the thread title is very misleading to the reader.

Krispy Kreme are ok, but nothing special. Dunkin Donuts has way more variety.

      That's just my preference.

Perhaps in the US, but over here the shop in Harrow has about 5 types of doughnut - the Krispy Kreme in Enfield has about 20 types... But only Doughnuts in KK, not sarnies and such.

Still, interesting to be able to buy them in Anfield (is this possible now?) - perhaps they will start selling more US things? I do however see this as LFC trying to break into the US market more than the Dunkin coming to the UK and expanding.

      Totally agree with Pup here.

      It's all about the money.

I traditionally associate doughnuts with fat American coppers who are tired to sh*t.

We are being Americanised as we speak.

Being Liverpool was just the start, a lot more to come i'm afraid.

It won't be long before they change our name, probably the Liverpool Livers or just Liverbirds.

      Well.
We've already got the red socks.

Can anything else be more American? Maybe the squad can wear snapbacks or we can have cheerleaders doing a dance before kick off.

Now when I'm munching donuts I can tell the wife I'm supporting the club.

Just had one of 3 pretzel shaped donuts. Tasty. It tasted like a donut, not a pretzel. Really don't see the point. No jam either, had to spread some on it.

      Testicular headgear?

In a perfect world we'd all want a classier sounding investor, but the deal is done.

Any idea of an amount (I may have missed it).
