      BELIEVE !!!!

      YNWA

I think it would be a good idea to actually win something before we start talking about "domination".

We should win it from here, but various reasons or "advantages" have been put out there to explain why. Some think it's the lack of games in other competitions. Some think it's a novelty factor. Some even say it's down to finances.

It's none of the above. We were top after 2 games, top after beating the mancs, top at Christmas, top at Easter, and we should go onto finish the job. But we're there because few teams can handle the way we play the game, few teams play the range of tactics open to them we have, most restrict themselves to 4-5-1, with their 2 defensive midfielders nullifying the opposition. We just go out and batter the sh*te out of teams, ask questions later, and so many games are done and dusted by half time.

If we win at Norwich, we will have the best away record in the league. If we beat Chelsea, we'll have the best home record in the league. Just 2 games later, it should mean we have the best record of all.

Will someone check my maths please as my brain is a bit scrambled after that game. Might take a few bizarre city results but by my reckoning we could be there by 6pm next Sunday.

If we beat Chelsea next week then they're out of it. We'd be on 83, they'd be on 75 with 2 games to go.
If City draw their next 2 games then the most they could achieve is 82 points so yes.

We can't win the League against Chelsea but we can win it on the day, however unlikely that is.

City have to beat West Brom or Palace to remain in contention after next Sunday.

Even if they win both, they're still going into the final week of the season, 6 points behind us.

There's only 2 teams in the League we haven't beat at least once this season and as luck would have it, we've got both of them to play.

Beat Chelsea and Newcastle, not only will we win the League but we can also claim to of beaten all 19 teams in the League over the course of the season. Throw a win against Palace in there and we'll have 9 doubles in the season as well.

      We rest between battles.

Chavs have to fly off to Spain tomorrow ..... get blitzed by Atletico fly back .... then recover before us.

Have to keep their best players available for the following week.

I sink Maureen has a quandry.

Kelly at right back from here on in - he can't/won't do worse than Johnson.

I think we'll need to win all our remaining games but you never know.

Not sure if the boss is telling them or it's a mental thing, but we have to stop sitting back after scoring a couple of goals. We can't counter attack as quickly because we've not got Studge's pace up front and we can't close down spaces quick enough because we don't have Henderson. Best form of defence is attack now

so if I've got this straight, then if, hypothetically, City lose against West Brom tomorrow (big if but you never know), then it means that if we beat Chelsea next week, we win the title regardless of what happens our last two games.  Right?

      Agree.

Hanging on against City was understandable given their quality. But hanging on today was simply a case of nerves. Sahko is a good player but 2nd half against City he hoofed the ball away a lot under pressure and today he looked very nervous again.

Our defenders and goalkeeper, apart from Skrtel, are not very solid individually or as a unit. So the best thing we can do is keep going forward to kill games off completely rather than sitting back and inviting pressure on a shaky defence when we get a goal or two up.
