Would a draw still help us? If so, assuming City get 4 points from the two matches we have in hand, that'll put them 2 points ahead of us -- meaning we'd have to win out to nip them to the title by a point.

That's exactly right mate.  We only need them to draw any of their other games apart from when they play us.

Spare a thought for those part time Man Utd fans

Doesn't that cover all the manure fans?

Anyways, a citeh loss would be great, can't even consider saying it the other way ;)

Hmm. That's going to be tough to do. 8 cup finals. This league won't be decided until the last 2 matches and I'm going to be a basket case the whole way ;D

I hope it's a feisty affair, with Red cards, injuries and it ends up a draw. If anyone has to win, let it be the scumbags.

Right, now going to have a shower and drink a bottle of mouthwash, as I feel dirty having  typed the above.  >:(

Funny enough, I was never bothered about us being in for the title until the last few weeks. Even if we finish 2nd or 3rd, it's still higher than I expected us to be. Just getting back into the Champions League has been a very long time coming. That said, we're so F***ing close to the title! it would be semi disappointing if we fall just short.

No, no, I don't think I'm special. My mother always said I'm not special.

You're right of course it would be a slight disappointment but I'm not concerning myself with that possibility because I'm confident we will.

There is a confidence in the squad, the players are confident in each other and in Brendan.  I've seen some amazing Liverpool teams winning everything before them in the past but I've never seen us so clinical in the way we play.  It's quite stunning in its simplicity and a joy to behold.

Jeez mate - you're not Norman Bates are you?  ;D

Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing, necessarily like....sh#t I've done it again....

But seriously I'm taking the tack that it's gonna be mental between now and May. I intend to avoid criticising any defending as long as we win and hope that works out!

This is true. Even when we went behind to Cardiff twice, I was completely calm because I knew we had the talent to run them ragged.

This has to be a first:

United fans want United to lose.
Liverpool fans want United to win.

Is hell freezing over as we speak?

There seems to be a joy and freedom in the players as well.

They look as though they are genuinely enjoying themselves, and nothing seems to faze them at the moment.

I can't bring myself to hope that utd win, so I'm hoping for a draw tonight  :f_tongueincheek:

Oh yeah. I'll gladly take 5-3 winning scorelines for all 8 remaining matches.

They are enjoying it mate but who wouldn't, playing like we are.

I'm hoping for a City loss but a draw would do  ;)

United already one down. Was very nearly two, but for De Gea's excellent save

Was a 1% chance of them getting anything. They are a woeful side.
