Not sure I'd start Lucas tbh for this one. Although him playing allows us to play our three best players available upfront I think we'll miss the energy and creativity from midfield. I think I'd be tempted to play either Moses or Aspas and have Coutinho alongside Allen. The legs in midfield have been one of the catalysts of our seasons run and Lucas just doesn't have the legs to keep up the running in midfield.

It's a tricky one it will be interesting to see how Rodgers approaches this one because by and large he's been able to stick to the same eleven week in week out without the urge/need to rotate - another reason we've had a successful season IMO.

It will be tough but like Gerrard said, if they treat this game like Milan, Citeh etc they should prevail, Hendo is a big miss that's the only thing I agree with the drunk about and this could change our whole dynamic.

Just watched that Poetry in Motion vid, and having second thoughts on Sahko being in.Is Agger fit yet ? He might be a calmer presence in the back 4. Sahko can sometimes be a bit wild, and been luck so far not to give a pen away. His air and miss kicks are becoming legendary.

      Agree.
He seems relieved when he makes a pass thats successful.

      Sunday night.............then there are three.

      Merson?
All I remember is 89 when he is running round the pitch pretending to neck down lagers.

What are the odds for another Suarez hat trick. ?
Seriously , do you think Norwich will out score us ?
      Not a f***in chance ,

Canaries in a coal mine !

They are F**ked and heading for the trap door, they know it , we know it, every f**ker knows it, hell, even Delia knows it's all over,
I wonder if she will bake us a Champions cake if we ask her nicely, go on Delia,
      Letsh be Avin youz ,

Like some of her little pastries, their gonna get battered, even if they put up the good fight we're still going to cook their goose ,

      Like Si, I'd go likewise,

                   Mignolet
       Johnson Skrtel Sakho Flanno
                     Gerrard
           Lucas.             Allen
                    Coutinho
              Sterling.   Suarez

We will of course miss Hendo but even so we will have too much for the inbreeds,

I honestly can't even see them bagging any , so f**k it I'm going for a 0-3 for the Redmen,

Sterling , Suarez & Skrtel in any order,
      Bye Norwich !

What about Luis Alberto, the few times I've seen him he's looked good, doesn't he play in the Henderson kinda role?

I'd defo like to see more of him, even if just a 60 min sub if we're a couple goals up...

Earlier in the season I'd have said yes straight away but at this stage I'd be more comfortable with our experienced players in there so that's why I would go for Lucas/Allen.

Can't wait for this game. Hendo will be a big miss for us but we can and will cope. This is the team I'd play, assuming Studge is out.

      Mignolet

      Johnson
      Skrtel
      Sakho
      Flanno

      Gerrard

      Allen
      Lucas

      Sterling
      Suarez
      Coutinho

Paul Merson predicts a 1-1 draw. He says Norwich will step back and say to us "break us down". I don't think Merson realises so many teams have played in that style against us this season and we have overcome them. Norwich shall be no different. Merson picks a draw for all the wrong reasons. He knows we are on a great run and he wants to be the person that says "I told you so". He wants to make himself look like a genius when in fact the guy is a complete tool.

He also used the excuse that Sturridge won't play (he didn't do for an 8 game run in which we put 5 past Spurs, 4 past West Ham, 5 past Norwich, 3 past Cardiff and we beat Hull 2-0). Thus proving even without Sturridge we are more than capable of ripping any team apart. Also, Sturridge has played in the past 3 games but has contributed 0 goals or assists, not getting on his back, every player has a few bad days at the office, but we still put 4 past Spurs, beat West Ham 2-1 and beat City 3-2.

Merson's Sturridge theory can be thrown in the bin along with the rest of his idiotic drivel.

Self confessed Chelsea fan let's judgement be clouded by self interest....?

      Thanks, but no thanks Paul.

I think Luis on his own up front will give us more options funny enough, Danny has been a little bit quiet lately. This means we will definetley play Raheem & Couts which are becoming the most vital players in the run in.

Really nervous about this one. BUT, cant see it going any other way than a murdering wit Luis playing. He absolutely loves scoring against this lot.

Get the 3 and get back to Anfield for the big one <--- which wont seem as big if they fail to bag the 3 this evening.

If we were 4 to 5 points ahead of Chelsea going into our match, with Madrid on his mind, Mourinho may give in a bit and we could have an easier game than we think. Ifs, mights and maybes...

Lets just do our job against Norwich 1st.
