We have CL. Now what about Everton?

It's been a given for a while now, all but confirmed. Obviously we are now looking towards a 19th league title  - but, we now 100% have CL qualification. But.. what about Everton?

I've seen a number of Liverpool fans say they'd like to see them in the Champions League - I personally would quite enjoy seeing it, buuuuut I'm not gonna too fussed if they don't get it. I'm far too preoccupied with our own season.

What about you lot? 

I'd like to see them in it but purely for the selfish reasons that it would mean Arsenal were £50m worse off next season.

More interested in them beating City than anything else.

If they were to get in I don't see them getting past the play-off round.

I'm not fussed if it's Arsenal or Everton who finish fourth. As long as it isn't the cu*ts (Spuds) then I'm happy.

I'd previously said that I would rather Everton make it than Arsenal...but as I've thought about it, it might be better if Arsenal make it and keep Wenger in charge. At this point I would be much more worried about what Martinez could do with a sizeable budget than what Wenger will do.

Either way, Everton need to be in the hunt so they can do maximum damage to City.

We all have our pet hates , We all  hate The Scum , others hate the Blueshite the arse the spuds , personally myself i hate the lot of them . But if it came down to the wire and a result would go either way between themselves and the arse i'd prefer the bs considering the way in which they would have done it . Arsenal are 16 consecutive years in the CL and haven't won it once , their a bunch of bottlers and accountants with no backbone .

Topic not about LFC, so off to the General Football Thread we go.

I'd rather have Everton qualify not because I've got some new found love for our oldest enemies, but more because it will damage Arsenal who have been perennial qualifies for the CL for eons.

In any case, I have grave doubts over whether Everton would negotiate the qualifying rounds.

Couldn't care less either way, it would be funny to see them lose in the 3rd round play off again, but as long as they beat City or take a point off them then meh.

I was happy to see everton win today vs manutd and i'll tell you why.

they are still very much in the CL hunt and will therefore play to win vs mancity ...  if mancity can suffer another loss / draw we will then have the ability to lose a game and still win the league.

and if everton makes it into the CL or not,  I personally couldnt care less.   decent team, good manager, 2nd best team in Merseyside ... our good fortunes this year has us wishing them the best as well... I just need to remind you all that before this season, they finished above us in the table for a couple years and the endless sniping of them > us was quite unbearable.   heck, they have fans who said they rather finish 5th and miss out on CL if it means we don't get the title.

Hope they do get it but I don't want Arsene sacked.

I would not worry about Everton qualifying for the C.L. as they would be lucky to make it to the group stages.

If Everton were playing down the bottom of my garden, I'd draw the curtains.

Everton have had a fantastic season and deserve respect for what they've achieved this season. I don't think they'd do well in the Champions League with their current squad or how much they have to spend this transfer window, but with Martinez at the helm I wouldn't laugh at them. You guys won't be laughing at them if they beat City like  we're hoping.

Couldn't give 2 shits if they made it or not.  Just would like it if they beat city.
