Liverpool legends match

A special Liverpool FC legends charity match will be held at Anfield in April to mark the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough .

A team of local Liverpool legends managed by Kenny Dalglish will take on a team of international Liverpool greats managed by Gerard Houllier.

Among those players to sign up so far are: David James, Jamie Carragher , Gary McAllister, Ray Houghton, Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman, Peter Beardsley, John Barnes, Luis Garcia, Markus Babbel, Jan Molby, Stephane Henchoz, Stig Inge Bjornebye, Dietmar Hamann and Vladimir Smicer.

I'm off to watch some legends play some football yo, with a massive hangover.
Hopefully there is loads of people there and the money generated can be used well in the courts.

This match is going to be great. Glad Garcia will be there.  Hopefully Alonso will show up. I personally feel a bit bitter towards Owen because he played for. .... I honestly don't want to finish the sentence but you know what I'm on about.  How did he gave up legendary status for next to nothing. You can call me a hypocrite because I'd like to see Moyes playing as a legend.

I'm glad they applauded Owen, it wasn't the day for the other stuff, a few boos early doors but nothing major, and it was definitely friendlier towards the end

Saying Dalglish may come on towards the end...looks like he's got a kit on under his warm up.......woud LOVE to see KK come on for a few minutes.
