Big statement, but win this and, for me, the league is won.

Cech, Terry, Ramires, Eto'o & potentially Hazard out then.

      No excuses.

      pretty much this.

If we want the title, we should be able to beat anyone in the league, especially our rivals, at full strength.

If they are missing 5 key starters, and so are NOT at full strength, anything less than a win is really unacceptable.

Just looking at an old programme from the 26th December 1966 when we played Chelsea at Anfield and won 2-1 courtesy of 2 Roger Hunt goals. The same result will do nicely this weekend thank you.
For anyone interested the Liverpool team that day was, Lawrence, Lawler, Milne, Smith, Yeats, Stevenson, Callaghan, Hunt, Strong, Thompson and the sub was Ross.

With Mikel and Lampard suspended for the next leg, I feel they might start again with Matic and Salah/Schurrle on the wings. Maureen prefers Eto'o in home games, so pretty much guaranteed Torres will start again

      Torres
      Schurrle-Lampard-Salah
      Mikel-Matic
      Azpi-Cahill-Luiz-Ivanovic

Should we play a diamond (if Danny returns) or a 4-2-3-1 or just stick to the 4-3-2-1 we played at Carrow road?

Jose Mourinho is prepared to hand the Barclays Premier League title to Liverpool on Sunday by playing a second-string side to save Chelsea’s Champions League dream.

For the media this is the 'Title Decider' - for the rest of us it's one step closer but nothing else... Its a must win game as the other 2 are post this - but we can get away with a draw and still win the title. I would prefer to be going into the last 2 games knowing a win and a draw does it for us (although a draw for the last game worries he hell out of me!)...

Mourinio has already stated he will 'rest players if he can, but its not his call to make' or some nonsense like that. Personally I don't think he fancies this game one bit and is making the excuses already... I feel for Brendan because if we do turn them he wont come out and be dignified about him or the club.

If they rest a lot of players they can still put together a top 4 team so its all a ruse - for us its simple. Best 11 out from the off and all out attack - lets try to catch them on the hop and finish them off in the first 30 mins. If its a team that is not use to playing together then its a real opportunity!

Win, Lose or Draw its been one of the best runs I can remember and I would take nothing away from the team what so ever, yes I would be heartbroken - but still proud of the lads and their performance!

Don't agree with that statement at all.
Football does not work like that as you should know. A Chelsea "second string" is stronger than Norwich, and we were hanging on at the end of that game. The hand of fate in football is a very fickle thing, it can turn against you at any time.

At the moment things are going our way, and hopefully will continue to do so. But to say anything other than a win is unacceptable is just plain stupid.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he wants to rest key players for Sunday's trip to league leaders Liverpool.
Liverpool are five points clear of Chelsea with three games left and Mourinho wants to focus on the Blues' Champions League semi-final, level at 0-0 after Tuesday's first leg.
"I would play the players that are not going to play next Wednesday [against Atletico Madrid]," he said.
"I can't decide by myself. I'm just the manager. I have to listen to the club."
      Chelsea's run-in
      Sun 27 April: v Liverpool (A)
      Weds 30 April: v Atletico Madrid (H)
      Sat 3 May: v Norwich (H)
      Sun 11 May: v Cardiff (A)
Chelsea's 2-1 defeat by Sunderland last weekend means even a win at Anfield would not be enough to stop Liverpool from winning their first title in 24 years should Brendan Rodgers' side win their remaining two games.
Manchester City can still win the title if they win their remaining four fixtures and Liverpool lose a game.
When told that resting players against Liverpool might not please City, Mourinho said: "I think I will do it, but we have to speak internally."

      Complete bollocks.

      Maureen's mind games.

Its a cup final whichever way it cracked pure and simple.

Just get our three front lads bombing into the box every minute  ....

      The rest will happen.

      2-0

Goals from  Luis .... a maze dribble ... and Stevie (pen)

Whatever Maureen says by now with his "mind games" should just be ignored, although it is interesting to see him deflect while using the "club" as a potential scapegoat about what team he should play. Soft c*ck.

Make no bones about it, this game will be tough. Chelsea will turn up to play the only way they know, park the bus, niggle, disrupt, batter and intimidate us with ale house tactics in order to break up our rhythm. They have the best form against the top 7 clubs so Maureen (loathe the c8nt) has got the turgid 'know how' of getting one over top teams.

We go again, play it like another cup final even though the little-man is trying to play it down. We go out there with our best eleven, play to our strengths and overcome a tough/physical midfield battle (like we had at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season) and there's no reason why 3pts can't be ours.

Make no bones about it, these c8nts are coming up here to spoil a party, we've just got to bounce the fvckers out!

Guests aren't allowed to vote on this one so... no idea. It was definitely somebody who isn't a Liverpool fan.

Let's be serious here. Norwich are fighting for their lives to stay up. Chelsea are fighting for... what exactly? Second place?

Whether or not we win the title the quote will be good next season to spur us on to a(nother) title !

My heart (as always) says LFC to win 2-1 but head says 1-1  :(.

My other worry is that fook Mourinho will do anything to get Luis sent off, i.e. he will get Ivansovic to rile Luis up so much so that Luis takes some stupid action. I hope Lius is given some food before the game so that he doesn't get hungry during the game ;).
