No real surprise there mate, it's been a "rumour" nearly all season.

Thinking it about it though, that's Costa, Salah and Willian they've signed out of the players we were linked to last summer.

So, when Mourinho bashed Suarez and calls him a diver, he goes out and drops £32m for one of the biggest divers in Spain in Diego Costa. Another one to add to the "hypocrite" thread then

Not sure why Chelsea need a striker, they never try to score anyway.

If Costa was to join them then basing it on the 2 games he played against the Chavs recently, I'm not concerned.

• Southampton reject United's £27m bid for Luke Shaw

United value Shaw in the region of £30m, with the 18-year-old, who was named by Roy Hodgson in England's World Cup squad on Monday, keen on the move.

His preference is that the deal should be completed before the tournament begins in Brazil next month. United believe they can conclude the transfer that would make Shaw the most expensive teenager in domestic football history and the best rewarded.

As reported by the Guardian, United will make Shaw the highest-paid player ever under 20 by offering him a £100,000-a-week salary over five years and are set to beat off interest from Chelsea and Manchester City for his signature.

These terms would quadruple his earnings and would see Shaw placed well above the bracket of Adnan Januzaj, who when agreeing a fresh five-year contract at Old Trafford last autumn accepted a salary of around £60,000 a week.

4. With those wage figures I can see most of United's £200m being wasted on absolutely ridiculous salaries and signing on fees.

Sadly I think Shaw is probably worth it. I do think we should get in early with Lallana, because if Shaw is sold first they may try to hang on to the rest of their players.

I think Barkley is probably worth even more than Shaw, think he may cost near enough £40million

Glad to see Ferdinand leaving the mancs, he's been a c**t ever since he signed for them. I remember Houllier saying Ferdinand was offered to us by West Ham for £11million but it would have blown our whole budget at the time.

Totally fuc...ked up! I couldn't believe what I was reading. I'm fairly certain Chelsea would have sold him for pretty much what they paid for the lad. He doesnt strike me as a typical Mourinho player so they will be laughing all the way to the bank. This is PSG getting into line for FFP! Perhaps they simply don't give a shi.t.

As for Chelsea, 50 for Luiz and another 43 for Mata makes for pretty good business.

It's another stooopid transfer that messes up the market for everyone else though. I wish the market would get a hold of itself. It's actually sickening to see some of these players now being paid up to and beyond 300,000k a week.

How the hell have Chelsea got that fee for Luiz?! He's shocking and so over rated!! He's not even worth what the Chavs paid for him!!

This is going to make a huge difference to PSG's FFP compliance.
