Well he sure seems to have all the tools in his box from what I've seen of him, but,he does strike me as the mercenary type.
      Skill wise excellent

I'd be very pleased if we signed Remy.

Versatile, good goal record, full international with experience in this league and CL as well.

I agree.  I'm a little surprised at some of the criticism that's been thrown at him on here ???  He may not be the most skillful player in the world, but he is athletic, direct, and effective.  He's a steal at 8M!!  Hell, he'd be a bargain at 15M in my opinion.  In today's market I think he's a 20M striker.

Sociedad confirming Arsenal wanna activate Vela's release clause. Might open the door for us to go after Remy.

But really doubt if BR is interested

Loic Remy for £8m would be a fantastic move.

Strikers - Suarez, Sturridge, Remy, Borini
Wingers/Attackers - Sterling, Ibe, Coutinho, Suso

There is Lambert  too, and for the record atm there is Aspas aswell

in fairness Lambert didn't sign until a week after his post

i'd woundn't include aspas either... all ive seen him do this season is run around out of position and then foul players when he trying to get the ball back he lost

remy would definately be an improvemnt

I think Remy would do very well in aBrendan Rodgers side and think he'd be an excellent signing.

Something about him that I can't put my finger on that I just don't rate him. Not sure I can even quantify what it is. I guess if Brendan wants him, so be it, go and get him.

You probably don't like him because he is French mate.... no one likes the French.

Would be an ideal squad player imo. Doubt he would accept that role though.

This is another nothing thread. Remy won't come here knowing he has no chance of starting games and we already have Borini as 4th choice striker.

It's the Metro so probably just sh*t but got to admit I would prefer Remy over Bony.

Decent enough back up player but I wouldn't like to see us go for him in all honesty, think we could do better.

Not my favorite player to be honest but I suppose for the price we could do a lot worse.

Just did a quick Wiki search. His goals:game ratio is pretty decent. With the chances we'd create for him I reckon he'd be a great backup.

Strange FL Red, I have the same feeling about him. Can't put my finger on it, just doesn't cut the mustard for me.

Do you think it could be he's not a big name or that he's not at a fancy club  ;)
