Some of his moves with the ball are like someone doing an illusion, I did a triple take watching the goal on motd.

Plus, he seems like a genuine guy, hope he goes on to become a fans favourite.

Now that his fitness is coming right it's becoming obvious why he was signed.

Lallana and Henderson is our future midfield and if Allen creates his good form, he can be part of the trio too

I think those who worried whether he would be another Stewart Downing can rest easily now. He has proved in his last few games that he is good enough. I love how he picks the ball up and always looks to go forward. Although not the best example but when he came on against Basel, he was one of the few who looked a danger.

I wonder how we're going to rank Sterling, Coutinho and Lallana come the end of season. I feel like Lallana offers consistency that the other two don't, not Coutinho yet anyway, Lallana could be up there with Henderson in terms of reliability. Raheem is probably the best attacking threat but Coutinho can hit a patch where he is up there with the best. But I rate Lallana's attacking game at the same time. Three great players that I'm stoked we have on our side.

To me, as i have said before, Lallana is the nearest to Peter Beardsley that we have had since that great player left our club far far too soon in my view.
I loved Beardsley and that is high praise from me to consider them similiar players.
I really rate adam and reckon that we have to do all we can to get the best out of him. Top player in my opinion

Probably won't matter because Coutinho is probably gone in January and Sterling in the Summer!

£25m to sit on the bench? I said when he was signed he is inferior to Coutinho and Sterling so the bench was where he would be if they were fit and on form.

He has been pretty decent majority of the times he's on the pitch as he brings movements, some flair and what not.

Lallana's technique is a pleasure to watch, I personally thought he was going to be a starter most games, maybe it's a gradual thing after coming back from his injury.

I'm a Lallana fan and I think he'll be a good player for us but he really needs to release the ball quicker at times, he has a tendency to keep the ball or do some additional touches for its own sake and it can be a bit annoying. He's very gifted technically though and I'd very much like to see him as a CM of CAM instead of wasted on the wing.

I agree Diego, but part of the problem is that all 3 of Coutinho, Lallana, and Sterling seem to play better through the middle and we can't accommodate all of them there.... Unless we play a diamond with Coutinho and Lallana at CM and Sterling in the CAM role.
