If that's the case then he can't be as desperate for the move as he's previously made out then.
Why? We want quality strength in depth don't we? One maybe but certainly not two.
If you think Lucas and Allen are quality that is your opinion but it certainly isn't mine. If we got rid of Lucas and Allen and brought in Reus we would have Gerrard, Hendo, Lallana, Can, Reus, Coutinho who can play in the cetre of midfield.

Reus is not a centre mid.

Correct. He is an attacking midfielder, normally played wide. Love the guy, but he would be competing with Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana and Markovic for a spot - he'd obviously win that competition, but I can't see us spending big in our strongest area right now.

Comparing Reus to Lucas and Allen? Are you for real?

You probably never watched Reus, so do us a favor and stay quiet.

Watching the swans play the scum I'm still not convinced by Bony. Are people still talking about him in here?

Surely and hopefully not. Probably the only Swansea player who hasn't put in a shift today. Lazy little sh*t.

He has looked quite uninvolved in the game but he was essential in the goal, blocking of Jones I think it was.

He looks very strong and composed when holding the ball up, but to be honest maybe he isn't agile enough to play for us but playing for us could give him a kick up the ass in that respect.

How it appeared to me. He's quite a big lad and is one who is more about brutal strength than pace and mobility. Personally I cannot see him excelling at Liverpool but only time will tell (given he does sign for us).

Maybe compare Reus to Downing.... knowing your love and admiration for Stuart it would be a hard decision. :)

Fair enough for me its hard to judge just from this game in particular because Swansea have hardly seen the ball.

Unfair to say he is lazy or sh*t today. He just doesn't suit counter attacking football with pace and Swansea played that today.

That's why I don't want him. He doesn't fit here.

I do think he is quite a lazy player if I'm honest, another reason why I'm surprised we're linked to him.

He was very anonymous today, but to be fair Swansea were pretty awful and hardly had any of the ball.

Swans mounted about 4 attacks during that game so it's not the best indicator of how he would fare at a team which creates loads of chances.
