His confidence must be shot to pieces when he continually gets hooked esp after yesterday when dross like Allen and Henderson stay on the pitch and he gets hooked.

He has become the 45min man.

He's 21 for god's sake. He's being flung the same sort of sh*t Henderson was receiving a few years back but like Henderson, there IS quality in there (more in fact). He's shown flashes of it here and there but he just needs the confidence and a good run. I have no doubts that the guy will become a class class player.

Much prefer to see him in a fluid front two/three than at right wing back.

Not been impressed by him bar a couple of games so far. Which is a shame seeing as he was excellent at Benfica. Clearly having struggles settling so far, another one who could be fantastic. Hopefully.

lets all hope its down to adjustment and he's also had to do a RWB.LWB role on occasions which is not what we bought him for. He needs a good run of games from now till the end of the season to get more experiance and then in the pre-season we use him all the time ready for the start of the season.

Hard to judge the lad on his last ten or so games given he has been hung out to dry at lung back for god knows how long.

Tough for him first season in another league and country his price tag put huge expectation on him and no two ways about it he has failed to live up to it. That is not to say the lad can't come good with a bit of hard work and dedication. Young players that aspire to becoming world class learn from their experience and push on for the better. Will be interesting to see what Lazar does this summer and beyond.

He's a 20 year old kid trying to adapt to a completely different type of football in England and has been made to play RWB for most of the season. Give him a break! How do you know what he thinks by the way? That's some talent!

Pre season is a bit late, should have been given more of a chance this season instead of being played out of position.

Give him a chance when he is not forced to play wing back and then judge.

He has always played as an inside forward (the ronaldo role just not as good) or as a shadow striker (the messi role just not as good) he has never played as a proper right mid let alone a RWB or RB....

At least he was trying attacking passes into feet on the edge of the box! Where as everyone else was doing hopeless lobs into their keepers hands.
