Personally hope we ditch him in the summer, make a few bob and invest up front (it's not like we'll miss his contribution from the season just gone).

Would you not want to give him another season considering your willing to give Rodgers more time ?

you realize that 7 of the 13 games he started he has been a defender. He is actually a striker! He's been mis managed. Given a chance upfront he may do better. I would have Lallana and Markovic would be first choice ob the wings with Coutinho being an attacking midfielder. Now Gerrard has gone I would like to see a 4 man midfield.

He deserves more than one more season, its the club's fault he cost £20m and its the club's fault that he's been playing at wing back. If we wanted a wing back then we should have bought one. He needs opportunities in the front 3.

Who at the club is responsible for playing him as wing back though? Was it Rodgers or the coach they fired?

We would get absolutely run over with that. Yeah it looks nice on paper for our attack, but defensively no way we could cope.

Hopefully he gets his ego boosted in the summer.

We haven't seen what this player is. I was a big advocate for getting him, I have no influence on us getting him but I spotted him and thought this guys going to be special or even more special.
I don't think fans know how good this guy is. Or going to be.
We seem determined to destroy young players mentality (Unless they're British) who are highly rated and were before they came here, this is the opposite of what should be. Coates and llori are a couple of examples like this. They never made the grade... I don't think so, they weren't given the chance and playing someone out of position never helps anyone.
